I got a bug where it forced me to keep running right. Other than that I really liked it! I'm really glad that you just have to be close to the weapons to fire them instead of having to go up and touch them or something. Fun!

okay I managed to beat most of the mobs before figure out what's going on and got the last wave touching my base but it's a lil fun game

I enjoyed the game. The only criticisms I have is the jumping doesn't feel very good, maybe if the character didn't jump so high it would feel better, and the enemies are lacking animations. Other than that the art style and music was good.

Nice art and music with a great variety of enemies and mechanics!

If I could change one thing, I would tweak the camera logic. Right now it moves behind me so that as I move right, my character goes further right on the screen, meaning I can see less ahead of me than behind me.

That was only a tiny thing though. Overall an impressive entry! Loved doing lots of dash attacks into the hordes of nice-looking enemies. I got to the final wave but I couldn't quite hold it off.

Cool game, nice music, but sometimes the character was to fast for me. In all, I think it is a great game. Good job. :)

Great Game, but the Character is a little too fast sometimes.

I second the notion that dash is kind of hard to control. Love the artstyle. I feel this kind of game would need a lot more of varied stuff to do since it's just a defense game, but it's a good start.

Gets better when the enemies increase and so do the weapons. The dash, as others said, was hard to aim when enemies were just a tad off the ground. Good music. Overall one of the better entries.

@Dovena Yeah, the dash movement is buggy and we plan to fix it in the post-Jam version. Thanks for playing!

Beautiful background and sprite art! :0 I like the mix of the themes here! It was a bit difficult to do precise movement, especially with the dash, but aside from that, it is a fun entry!

Really Nice art and the music was good too. Pretty fun, but I think mainly could use just a bit of tweaking for feel. Like the jump is pretty floaty, and the dash is fun but goes too far given the camera position. Also personally i rather have a keyboard or a mouse control scheme, it felt a bit strange that i had to start using the mouse to aim the weapons, which made me just stick to using dash alot. Made it through a coupld of rounds but got killed by the something big ones. Didn't really get the theme connection either?

Great art! I included it in my Ludum Dare 41 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KPBmbPuy0Bg

Makes me think of Aegis Defenders, combining platforming and tower defense. I like how powerful it felt to control multiple guns at once when they spawned close to each other.

whoa.. great idea, i like the concept and the gameplay also, i think it's better to know where the
enemies come from before a wave start. overall Nice work!

Being able to hold down the button to fire would be nice. Also, I had a hard time dashing accurately since it goes so far.

Nice art and nice work on the music!

Firstly - where is theme? I don't get how it leans toward theme - which generes this game combines? I guess it could be platformer with some tower defence? Not entirely though and it's not that obvious.

Apart from that: Art is great, music even more awesome - it could be pixel-perfect in the menu too - that would be great (now you have some aliasing and compression on menu sprites)

I had a lot of fun playing this game, although once you get the idea how weapon works - there is almost no need to use dash - which is great game mechanics! Maybe some minimap would improve this situation, once you see where enemies are comming from and at which speed - using dash would had more sense. I saw little dear-skull icon popping out top left and right but i think it's too weak of a hint.

It was really fun to play and i stick for it for some time! Great entry!

Not sure what the two themes were with this but it was fun. I really like the art style in it! It was a little hard to aim the dash and found myself using the weapons more. It would have been nice to skip the tutorial after the first time playing it. Overall, nice work!
