Saviour by Michaelsinn

[raw]
made by Michaelsinn for LD 40 (JAM)

You play as a futuristic droid that was sent to a strange alien area in search of five humans who have gone missing. You must collect four artifacts scattered around the map in order to unlock the portal home. Each artifact collected increases the strength of the enemies. Save as many humans as possible while still making it back in one piece.

Controls: WASD - Move Left Mouse - Hold to charge, release to shoot E - Press 'E' while charging a shot in order to use a small amount of health to kill a turret Stand on survivors and artifacts to collect them

Each map is completely randomly generated, and will most likely have small insignificant bugs

Really enjoy the visual aesthetic you having going on here, the game is extremely pretty. I do quite like the stealthy, patience-rewarding gameplay, but it is fiendishly difficult (got a lot better though once I realized I didn't need to full-charge to stun the turrets, haha). Definitely could see this being pursued more in the future.

oh congratulation! Nice art! Can I follow it also on indiexpo? Do you have also a page there? This looks great! I looked for the games that used the #LDJAM but I don't find yours. So good luck!! I will hope to make a video about it!

Still, haven't beaten it but it looks and plays very nicely. I also think the music really helps the intensive atmosphere. Hope you keep adding features to it.
