I like the music and the main mechanic! made me laugh several times.
The physics are buggy (shooting is not very predictable and several times I fell through the floor or got stuct on an enemy)
I would play it again and again if the physics/controls were fixed :D

Buggy, indeed. You can shoot arm and several legs. After that they starting to flying around and it looks pretty strange.

Aside from bugs, why is the shoting so delayed? It's a little frustrating.
Animations are cool.

@limered thank you for the comment about animations seeing I did them ;) In response to why the shooting is delayed is that I wanted half the animation to play and then fire the arm via a coroutine for example. I was just trying to make it look better by having the arm raise then fire but it seems its caused some unwanted frustration so for that I apologise :)

I can not hear the music. SFX are fun. The theme is respected. Nevertheless classic. At least gratulations to you three for your first attempt at the ludum dare.

Congrats on getting something out there!

I like the gory details when your arm flies off :)
I managed to get some distance into the cave, but I kept getting caught by the tentacle without seeing it fly in or when I failed to shoot it.

For the next one I would suggest playtesting the game as early as possible and toning down the difficulty to make sure that the first steps are pretty easy. One tweak you could do is make the tentacle move 1/4th the speed so you only get caught if you stop moving forward for a while.

This should be a local multiplayer shooter where players shoot their limbs at each other and then go around and collect them to shoot them again xD

Without the bugs the game is quite funny. :)

The idea is good but the execution is a bit weird. It seems to be pretty buggy, it's good visualy, but I don't like how the tentacle sprite is turning, since it's barely visible at some points.

Was really interested in the conscept but got confused when the player flew around at 500 mph. I have my suspicions on what may be causing this and I would love to talk to you guys and polish it up!

Nice idea ! I like how you can end up without any limbs :p Sometimes the tentacle was showing off and I couldn't see it, I only saw a line. But except that, good job !

Getting some bugs. Not sure if I am doing something wrong, but it's a little unplayable. The enemy is colliding with me out of the range of my attacks.

Sidenote, if you've never played Plok, you should.

It's a little bit buggy. The tentacle seems to fly at you too fast, you can't really react if it's on the screen.

The controls seem a little unresponsive. There's a lot of delay and the only way to escape the tentacles is to never stop moving.

Overall, however, it is a charming little thing. The graphics were cute and the sounds went along well.

A wacky game xD Quite a lot of bugs, but an impressive first-submission for a jam. The shooting is so delayed it can feel like it's not working, but the concept is great. :hatching_chick:

Cool concept but the controls are very unresponsive. Also the enemies didn't kill me, just stuck me to the ground so that I couldn't move. The tentacle was doing all kinds of freaky stuff, squishing and expanding and colliding me from miles away. Very buggy too. Sorry for the harsh comments but I wanted to give good feedback

This is hilarious, but way too difficult.

Cool idea, but the execution was buggy and the difficulty was a bit high. The graphics were cool and the audio worked well though.

I loved the atari 2600 gfx for the character & enemies. Good music, nice concept. I was unable to exit the cave after a dozen tries or so, but I really enjoyed trying. Sometimes the tentacle was barely visible (rotated?) and would kill me, which was my only frustration.

As said above, a bit buggy and unresponsive, and maybe too hard (or I suck)?
Still, graphics and audio are cool and the base concept is pretty nice :)
