this was probably the funniest game I've played yet. Whoever did the sound effects for the crew is amazing. I love the concept of how different crew members do different things so you become worse b/c you have less crew. I made it to level 9 and couldn't really get past that level I'm sure if I tried more I would beat it. Overall the game looks and feels very polished. I love the look of the different levels with the space theme

I love the humour of this game! :D The absurd idea and the voice lines are great!

Making the ship or gun harder to control makes the game less fun though - maybe there are other ways to increase the difficulty than to randomly jitter the movement. For the gun units it could be that you shoot out the crew at slower speeds, thus making it harder to predict where to aim. For the movement it could be that the ship brakes more slowly (with no pilots it wouldn't brake at all when you no longer hold a key).

Also, I somehow expected to be able to recollect my crewmates that are floating around in space

Nice touch having not only the ammo be "life" but also have pros and cons to using them making the moral aspect of your decision making be persuaded by the effects of each crew member. The lines that the crew spout out as you fire them made me smile.

Really wish I could go after them and pick them back up especially the blue techs since they are usually floating around nearby. Anyways, thanks for your youtube channel and all the tips for indie development.

Very nice game! It seems very well polished for a 3-day game. While sometimes it is kind of frustrating when you can't really control your spaceship anymore, the trade-offs you have to make create an extra dimension in the game. The sound effects when firing a crew member are amazing and made me laugh quite a few times.

Grphics and sounds are good and the idea of shooting your crew into space is funny. But playing the game is not so funny. Loosing more and more the control is a bit frustrating. But good work anyway!

@Biebras Thank you for your comment and thank you for playing! And don't worry, there's nothing after the victory scene. It's basically just a level with a bunch of harmless enemies to play around with.

Wow this was so fun! I'm absolutely astounded at how much polish you guys managed to get in this game, incredible job! My biggest criticism is the scaling of the downgrades. The impact losing crew members has is suuuuper strong, so much so that it becomes near impossible to control the whatever aspect that crew member impacts before you've even lost all of them. Despite that though, incredibly fun, polished game.

**Side Note:** This might've just affected me, but when I ran the game it was a bit laggy for me (was running it on a laptop, so I know, yeah, it's my fault, haha). Setting multiple computer strength levels right before building would be a nice touch in the future, cuz it inhibited my experience a bit

Very solid entry! Played through a couple times in order to get the hang of it but ones I did it was very enjoyable. Great sound effects, graphics, and game play. Some constructive feedback might be to have a way to pick up crew members that didn't hit the target or maybe the enemies could drop some crew when destroyed. But more importantly, a way to exit the game without having to use Alt+F4 :)

This is probably my favorite entry I've played thus far.

Fun game and interesting concept, only missing a menu and a way to quit :)

The game looks good and the audio is nice, but the ship just becomes impossible to control when you have lost a decent amount of crew. It seemed like the crew that you loose when taking damage favours the crew type that you have selected as ammo. So you can quickly loose all of a certain type of crew member when under attack. I also couldn't quit the game with esc, but that's minor issue. I made the other promising idea we had during the first livestream, in which the player controls a bag of money.

Amazing entry! And incredible making-of, thank you for that! You guys know what you're doing in the game design department, and it shows!
Loved all the polish, it really adds a lot. I, too, thought the player losing power makes the game a little less enjoyable, but on the other hand it was an incentive to play better. I don't know how I'd counteract it.

All in all, a very good job!

@mika-la-grand That's awesome, gonna check it out right now! Which crew members you lose is random as far as I know, by the way.

Really fun and unique take on the theme, excellently presented and hilarious concept. This is one of the most original gameplays I've seen in an LD and it was actually really tough trying to figure out when crew member to toss out. I DID tend to throw out the orange first just because they were the most fun to watch go out. That then turned it into a really crazy timing game as the cannon swung around wildly, awesome. I think this core gameplay is super solid and a full version with more things could go really far. Almost close to a perfect entry for me!

Awesome submission -- it was really fun watching the live stream and then playing the final submission.
To echo other comments, yeah loosing control does not feel great, but at the same time, it's kind of fun to win against the odds of losing control.

@peachtreeoath Haha what the hell, that comic is amazing and kind of how I imagine this game from inside of the ship :D

Thank you for the kind words!

Only, if there was a main menu and a way to exit the game without hitting alt f4.
