The forgotten mission by stoffe

This is an exploration game where you must help the little robot to complete his mission. The only problem is that it doesn't know what its mission is any longer...

Tips * Game is best enjoyed in fullscreen, else the narrator blocks the view. * Don't stand to close to walls/doors when you place things on the ground, else you can get stuck. :pensive: * Don't rush, take your time to read the narrator text, it adds meaning to the game. * You lose very little power when standing still, you only lose a lot of energy when you move or shoot. * Game has no audio (we ran out of time to create any) so put on your best song in your own playlist.

Controlls * Movement - W, A, S, D * Shooting - Arrowkeys * Pickup items - Spacebar * Interact with items - E * Special interaction with terminal - Y, N * Quit/Exit fullscreen - Escape

Bug Fixes 2017-08-03 * Increased the bomb explosion radius to prevent the player from getting stuck in walls/doors when placing bombs (it's now 2.5 times bigger)
* Clarified if the little robot ran out of life or power at game over screen

Interesting game, the dialogue was a cool touch! (though the robot is pretty oblivious :P) It would be helpful if there was more visual or audio feedback for when you take damage.

Nice game! First I thought that the kid was going to help me somehow. Until he died!

Fun, thought the pirates were a little annoying to get past. No sound killed the immersion a bit. Nice entry!

It was a really fun game, and I liked the extra dialogue that the robot said. However, the only problem I had was that you had to play in fullscreen, otherwise you couldn't see the actual play area due to the box being in the way. On the other hand, it feels really fun to murder Aryan space pirates.

I really enjoyed the story aspect of this game. The console window on the right sometimes got in the way of seeing where I was going though. Playing the game in fullscreen helps this a bit.

Fun little game, dialogues were great. I didn't understand there were pirates, they look too kind :)

I loved how immersed the player with the little texts. Also really funny! Cool entry!

Thanks to you all for your kind comments.

We ran out of time, if we had had more time then we would have added audio effects. You guys will have to envision the audio in your minds ;-)

In our next ludum dare we will try to add audio. :-)

Dialogues are a nice addition but with pace of the game it's difficult to read them while progressing.

It was nice, although it was kind of hard to see the pirates until they were in your face.

@michaeltwg Yes i agree, I think if I had to do it again, I'd slow down the game a bit, and add a notification sound when something new pops up, or even better have an audio narration too. Thanks for playing and commenting.

Fun game. I though i was meant to interact with the human... But he just wanted to interact with a bullet.

This game needs sounds badly. I liked it a lot though. The narrator is a really nice touch and it helped me understand the game much faster. Thank you for making this game! Good job!

Really fun game to play, idea is simple and fun, but needs more polishing, there vere some small bugs, but not making this game less fun. Good Job!

A great game, although, as others have already mentioned, it would be great if there was sound.

The concept is one of the key strengths of the game – I really like what you did out of the theme.

Also, I liked the dialog system very much.

**So, all in all:**

**It's a great game ** – it needs a bit of polishing here and there (especially audio and visual feedback), but I know it's hard to do those things in such a short amount of time, so: Well done!
