I am getting a 404 error on the itch link. Need to publish over there maybe?

Nice. A click to move (or a hotkey) instead of having to click the "move skill" then click to move would have made this a lot smoother. Also the bow seems incredibly overpowered.

I've been really impressed with people innovativeness and your game is no exception. I think this game has one of the strongest core gameplay loops of almost any entry I've rated so far.

Damn it, those dudes beat my ass. Not sure how to "dodge" arrows and fireballs. Nice music!

Great game ! The core gameloop is solid, but sadly it doesn't take long to become repetitive.
I don't know, maybe add some health pools, AI, rng based drops of the skills. Definitely more skills.

Interesting mechanic and way of incorporating the theme. The only thing that bothered me is the camera. It kept moving when I just wanted to select a skill :(. I would recommend clamping it or maybe moving the skills to an area that doesn't count for camera movement. As for the skills as someone already suggested, hotkeys would be a good idea.

I am sorry, but i still can't get the theme in this game. But it is fun to play but after play for some minutes i feel bored after get all skill, because skill is too op and enemies are weak. But nice job :v:

As others said, the idea behind this is really fun. A bit of balancing should prevent the game from becoming boring too quickly - after I received the fireball power it all got a bit too easy.
Anyway, the core is really nice!

This overall a fun little strategy game. Love the music, and the graphics is okay but nothing super special. The gameplay is okay, but more different enemies could have been fun. Overall a good LD game.

Great Game overall. But I wished I could know what floor I am currently on.

So as far as I can see, the creators of the game most likely didn't have the time to make the game the way they wanted. I get the pain, believe me. I guess all I can say is that we've probably learned a lot during this jam and next time we'll do much better! Other than that, you certainly managed to do a much better job than me so congrats!

I don't get how this game is realted to the theme but it's really fun and art isn't too bad, I really like the skill icons.

There is one thing I think could improve the gameplay: add option to use skills with keyboard instead of clicking on them as this gets annoying really fast. If I could choose skill with some hotkeys the game would be even more fun.

Thanks all for the feedback! Indeed I didn't really complete the vision I had, I lost about 12 hours of the jam due to prior commitments and didn't get to do everything I wanted. The idea was that engaging with different enemies would be a trade-off of life vs. the reward you get (a new skill) and that you'd have a limited pool of skills. I may continue to develop it and if so, will put an update link here. Hotkeys for skills is a great suggestion.

This was really fun! I'll note that the theme was lost a little bit in the final result, but that's okay. I'll spare repeating what others have already noted to say it's okay to have other obligations. I had quite a lot of time to finish my game, while others lost full days or even most of the time available. You did what you could do with the time you had, and we all appreciate the outcome! Keep on developing!

Nice concept! I like the turn based pieces but hiding what's on the tiles to be a selection of things as well as including a tooltip to inform the player what each ability does on hover. Something simple for more feedback is all. I liked it!

I didn't get the theme at first, but it's actually really clever. I feel like the input mechanics could be streamlined a lot more, but as it stands the game works really well. Great job.
