Description:
Your place is on fire and you have a limited amount of time to gather a maximum of your stuff. Normally, it is impossible to gather everything.
How to play: Nothing can hurt you except time. You have to gather as many items as possible. Every time you will pick one item it will decrease the timer. At the end of the timer it will display what you managed to get and what you did not, with a little funny description (i hope) of the item lost. Everything that touches the ground contains items.
Controls: * Right Arrow and Left arrow to go right and left * Space to collect items * R restart only available when you lose
There is no bug in this game, only features : * The player can escape the area cause I did want people to feel free. * No music cause this would probably have ruined the immersive graphism I spend so much time on. * Soapy control the dog is old, c'mon give him a break! * Graphics are bad, yes, but they are all equally bad and that's a beautiful thing. * It is hard to pick the items from the TV cause I need you to lose time. * And the list goes on ...
Excuses for not doing better: No inspiration, first time drawing with a tablet, motivation going down cause of bad art, unity being unity... and the final boss TIME
Things I want to share: I really struggled with the theme and in the end i managed to come out with ideas when i decided to make a theme from the current theme I went with "You can't save everyone" and from there a lot of ideas started to come.

-the "it's a feature, not a bug" thing is a little unprofessional, and adding things like bounds so that the player can't escape are fairly small but go a long way
-there are quite a few typos at the end, would be worth looking at
-timer is a little bit small
ultimately, it makes sense a lot of stuff didn't make the cut (because that's the nature of ludum dare), but there are some things that are fairly important. that being said, i actually really liked the "bad" art style, mainly because it was cohesive and kinda fun.
@tylerstraub You are right about the cut i had really poor time management and end up implementing the item pick up system in a rush at the end. Regarding the it’s a feature, not a bug at the beginning i had a huge boring list of issues with the game and i end up changing it to this cause i thought it will be more fun.Will take a look for typo thx.
@dk5000p I had the idea to be able to slow the fire and increase the timer but i would have need more items and more room when """"art"""" was already a challenge for me.I will probably keep working a bit on it to add music and more mechanics.
Enjoyed the humor of the text and the frantic character. I think there are definite positives to take away from this experience.

Okay it's not top notch or perfect, but the idea you had is nice. It would have been nice to add some sound FX a bit for more immersion but I do understand you weren't motivated. Anyway you did an entry and it's already nice
