For any Citizens that are not familiar with Alpha Complex, it's the very excellent setting in the equally excellent tabletop roleplaying game Paranoia. Because Citizen Dave-O-DBL-1's game is entirely set in that world, an understanding of Alpha Complex and Paranoia as a whole greatly helps to make this game a FUN experience! Remember, happiness is mandatory. Unhappiness is treason. Treason is punishable by death.
I hope that makes things clearer.
Unfortunately I was also experiencing some motion sickness at that point (which I'm not very susceptible to) so I more or less had to turn off. :( Mouse look would've been nice.
Super interested in the text-to-speech because it sounds like you set it to a different language than English, and then had it try to read English, haha.
Really like the æsthetic of it. The contently smiling faces of the people were possibly even more unnerving than the eyes everywhere. And the fact that they all looked the same played very nicely into the whole thing about there popping up "new yous" after the "old yous" die. 👀
**SPOILER** _Following the computer's wishes gets you Blue clearance(Computer wins), but if you do things a little differently you can also get Ultraviolet clearance(You win) or even destroy the computer(Computer loses)._ **END SPOILER**
The multiple endings was a nice touch - would have been nice to have "more" of an ending in each case, but pretty cool all the same.
The movement took a bit of getting used to - very old school, rather than WASD & mouselook like many games use now. Also felt a bit "floaty" Not a deal breaker by any means.
