The graphics look amaazing! So clean and smooth, I like it a lot
It plays pretty well but I wasn't really sure what the aim of the game was
Other than that, nice job

The character modelling as interesting, and I liked the sound effects (is that you making noises at the microphone?). The bird drawings are ok. And by the way are the levels randomly generated? I had that impression after a few runs. Anyway, it's a good game overall.

I'd put a nice soundtrack to fit with the game.

But there's just one thing. I don't know if it's just me, but your game crashed when I was going to level 6. Here's the screenshot.

Hey @jegus9, thank you for your response. Yes, we recorded the sounds, it's @starlin's voice and I just quickly modified the pitch and normalised it with Audacity.

The levels are randomly generated yes. There are 4 or 5 platforms in the scene at the same time, if you fly too far I just remove the old blocks and generate new ones.

I'm very sorry for the bug, this was our first gamejam, my bad but we didn't have a time schedule, so very rush by the end and not really testing. This is the reason for the lack of music too. Next time will be better, I know we really need to make a proper plan. Anyway, I'll look at it when I have time and try to fix it.

Thanks! @rainbowjam
It's my first time using Blender! Animation is soooo hard, I think I can do better next time.
The aim was creating an environment that a pigeon family have got more kids, mother/father need more food to feed them and it matches the theme "The more you have, the worse it is", hope that explained well, we hadn't got too much time for the text and tidy things.

@jegus9 and @rainbowjam thanks for playing our game!
I will play your game soon ;)

Nice game! I was having a bit of trouble playing, but it might just be my computer. Regardless, great job.

Nice job. The fox model was pretty good. I liked your sound effects. It wasn't the best looking game but had an aesthetic that I liked a lot. It would have nice if death just reset the level instead of the entire game. Besides that, good job.

Lots I really love about this game. The graphics are on point, it is nice to have a new idea that is simply played out. The artwork is nice to. I especially like the camera movement. It would be nice to see where it gets taken to next. If you fancy playing my game I shall casually leave the link here. Oh what's this (points) https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/run-guys

These soundeffects <3 love it!

Oh I know the moment, when you are using blender the first time. I created a cat my days, and... well... your fox is even better :3

Continue working with blender, it will reward soon!

Gameplay is pretty decent, the graphics are good, but the menu buttons are labelled weirdly (I didn't even realize the game had a help menu until I tried pressing the strangely-labelled "assist" button), and because of that I didn't realize what the green cloud was supposed to do at first, resulting in it being harder to play than it should be. That, and the game is a bit repetitive and kinda isn't all that hard, which is usually not a particularly fun mix.

Very appreciated everyone's comment, it will help us to get better next time.

@coderk which trouble you had? Maybe we can fix it :P

@relictooth Thank you for liking my weird sound(Of course had edited by @subztep)

@mowztouch Pretty hard 72 hours indeed!

@mrchippy Hmm, good point, we were very rush finishing at the end, next time should plan backward if we have time!

@arron-fowler I only did models and any design assets, @subztep dealt with Unity, he's very good at that! will play you game soon ;)

@fis) I know, right? blender is really huge, I finished tutorial about 8 hours(Only Mesh section - Practicing the same time) in two weeks before and using the knowledge and did another rigging tutorial on Youtube on the first day of ldjam 40! Pigeon took me a day, fox also a day! And I'm still facing some troubles unsolved.. Need to practice more. :) Except all that, I am very happy what I can do with blender and can't wait to know more.

@happygreenfrog Thanks for all the comments, yeah ^^! We will need to think smarter, come back in ldjam 41~ I think we will be here again :D

I thoroughly enjoyed your game... took me a bit to get the hang of it. I didn't run into any issues. Good job :-D

Love the handma...eehh mouthmade sound effects! Is it possible though that you haven't updated your html5 version of the game? I didn't have the max food and longevity counter and couldn't go to the next level. :(

@secretstage Hey, thanks for playing! :) On the first level you don't really need to do anything, so just touch the "nest", and you go forward.

Fun game to play, with a special mention for the beautiful low poly graphics. I is also very pleasant to find games like yours that are easy to play, with no complicated rules and a straightforward but effective interpretation of the theme.
On the critical side I would say that it is a bit repetitive ; and the green cloud does not fit in the rest of the graphics.
Overall, congratulations on your entry. It would make a great mobile game imho!

I like the style of your fox. A tip to improve you animations: Try to avoid animating everything to the same time. Like moving the front and back legs together looks unnatural. Try to shift the frames of 1 leg a bit. For further improvements check out the 12 Principles of animation :)
Overall great entry!

**Pros**:
- Game concept
- 2D arts
- Almost all 3D arts
- Sound effects

**Cons**:
- Slowly progression
- Too easy if you aren't impatient
- The "nest" graphic
- Lack of background music

The first time that I touched the next and I go into title screen, I mistaked it with Game Over. A suggestion: After you complete a level, show the longevity remaining to the player, so he can try a better score.

Overall, nice job!

Nice low-poly models and interesting gameplay.

I couldn't finish the level "get 25 food" – a fox ate me after collecting the food (twice), then I didn't have time to collect it again. The bird gets difficult to control after eating more than 20 food.

Some difficulty balancing would be nice, also being able to restart a level (rather than the whole game) would be helpful. I would also welcome a key to "fall faster" so I could get food without having to wait to slowly "glide" down.

Anyway, it's both relaxing and challenging game, which is well executed! It forced me to start thinking about strategies how to progress a bit more...

(btw. I played the WebGL version - it suffers from lighting artifacts caused by Unity's default settings. You may want to try increasing "Pixel light count" in Edit > Project settings > Quality).

Well well well - I am the food again :/
Very good aesthetic for this little flappy bird clone. I was very impressed byt the main aesthetic - this tiny low poly world and all colors. Mechanic works fine as I expected. I would like to hear some quiet track as a background. Good ++

Checked this game out, and I liked it a lot. There's something about the sounds that make it feel funny yet somewhat innocent. The art and gameplay are not bad either, and it really keeps one entertained for a while. For some reason, it took a long time to load though.

Regardless, the nest being green was something very odd. I thought it was an enemy or poison or something. In the future, do put some sort of indicator for the people who just skip the instructions (I actually didn't, but I didn't pay much attention either :/), and some sort of sign telling the player how far they are from the starting spot.

Great entry regardless. [In behalf of my team](twitter.com/whalesandgames), great job on making it through the LD. Cheers! :whale:

Interesting game! Simple enough to understand, although a little lacking in terms of challenge. Even at max seeds, flying and avoiding foxes is pretty easy... Only problem is the tall trees that I can't fly over. Also, interesting that you FORCE the player to poop if they go over 25 seeds. The one thing I DID love is the sound effects. Hilarious! All in all, not bad at all~
