Text Card Action Game by DragonZlay

[raw]
made by DragonZlay for LD 41 (JAM)

Well. Well. Well. Here it is. The result of 7 hours work. "7 hours work?" You ask. "You had 3 days AND a teammate!" To which I say, It's NOT a funny story. I made a game that was unfinishable, and once I realized that, I understood that I had to start over. Because, it's better to have a very small, but tolerable game, than a large, but intolerable game. This game is like the ultimate META, since everyone is doing either text or card based themes, mine is text based that operates on cards. Well, enjoy, if you'd like to.

Well, if time constraints force you to make a puny game you might as well make it punny, which you did. Too bad things went the way they did. On the plus side, the game has replay value because of the multiple endings.

Good call on having something to submit overall, I got a great chuckle out of the text, I'm gonna look forward to see what you do next Ludum Dare, hopefully it'll have similar humor interjected!

Nice work! I liked the story, and enjoyed treating the combat as a puzzle - it made the story more interesting. Now, I'm not sure it exactly fit the theme (the cards were really just actions, and didn't retain any qualities of standard cards), but otherwise I had fun. Good job!

Hello.

I love the simple charm of this game, I was surprisingly into the whole thing from the very first move I did.

Good entry, would be happy to see more of these.

If you could do me a favour and take a look at my game made with GameMaker Studio 2 and leave a rating that would be most helpfull :)

Not to bad! I do think the game has some issues like how long it takes for the next "scene" to happen. Besides that however it's not that bad. I like the little charm in it :)
