Shit Country Sweeper by Damienp
Clean after yourselves
Our nation is the greatest in the world, and that's a fact. Period.
Other shit countries need to be shown how to sweep after themselves, and our mine clearance team is the best.
If you know how to play Minesweeper, then you're on.

Controls
Pretty much the same as Minesweeper
- Left click: Open country
- Right click: Flag country
- Middle click: Rotate around the earth
- Mousewheel: Zoom

However looks like I had a bug:

Georgia lied to me. Both Turkey and Armenia had a bomb (I opened Turkey to be sure about it).
Thanks, I fixed it now :)

@N8M8 Aww man thanks for the let's play, that means a lot! About the negativity of the whole *shit* thing, I meant to create a backstory about a nation's president saying derogatory comments about other countries. I didn't get around to doing it, but the name stuck.
@LMB Minesweeper has always felt like a war situation to me, and yet it is so abstract that after a short while playing, I forget that it's about explosive devices built and used to harm civilians. I wanted to reconcile the two distinct ideas that are the mechanics and the “backstory” of Minesweeper, if there is such a thing, that is a geopolitical one. The political overtone in the game ended being slight due to lack of time...
I know of *at least* one bug. ;)
Edit: And by the way, while playing I actually had some feelings like those you described. "Gee, these are real countries with real peopl exploding". Things like that...
As stated in the *Thanks* section, I used border data from [naturalearthdata](http://naturalearthdata.com/). So it took me a short while to understand the data format, and to write a script to generate connections between countries, but I didn't trace each border.
Besides, this task is not only tedious, it requires geographical and political knowledge which I do not have, since some borders and even states are contested.
Clean graphics, good gameplay, solid entry. <3
