Reserve Battery by Vehem
Little robot on a 500 year mission to defend some boxes. A bit of a retro-styled shooter with a pure cheese backstory. Simple to pick up and play, but takes a bit of practice to complete on Hard.
Several levels, the last of which is an infinite "how long can you last" challenge. There's scope for a bit of expansion (more power ups , enemy types etc), but keeping it simple for the sake of focus on the theme.
First entry, has been fun, won't be my last.

Great work!
In truth, the game is a little "cut short" from what it could be (the last level of this version could easily be reversed to a "survive for X minutes" and the game continue after that) - mostly a lot of concepts being tried out to add some variety. Adding more "feel of progression/accomplishment" as you suggested is something I'll look into more.
To be honest, even the easiest difficulty was tricky for me (but that's just me). A small story, sound effects and controls are nice
The only thing that bothered me are story text sounds. They were a bit too loud
But a little bit harder then i expected :D
But, is it normal that we can be blocked because of a lack of energy ?
This is a well polished game, no bugs, no floaty controls, and it's a nice gameplay. I love that you spent your time making different levels, something that we (LiquidBrain) should have done.
I respect you for taking your time to make it so polished. While most others just try to pump out their idea. It's a bit of a balancing game, either you implement tons of features (which usually results in glitches) or you polish the ones you have. I usually do the latter.
Good luck!

I'd increase the amount of power you have - but apart from that, I really like this entry.
Controls feels tight and the gameplay solid.
Keep up the good work! :)
