Simon Shoots by Crown Games

What is Simon Shoots?
Simon Shoots is a game in which you are fighting off hordes of rhythm blocks, upon an arena which is styled similarly to a Simon game.
How does this fit the theme?
I decided to combine two games I’ve never made before. A memory game, Simon in this case, and a top down shooter. The result, is Simon Shoots!
Why should I play Simon Shoots?
Good question, glad you asked. You see, Simon Shoots is a game where your reflexes are pushed to their limits. As the game gets progressively more difficult, you have to be quicker and quicker. There will be a point where your reaction time limits you, forcing you to adapt and improve if you want to get a higher score.
Who made Simon Shoots?
Me! Christopher Harris, a freshman at Midway High School. Though I'm young, I've grown up playing video games my entire life, and have been making them for almost 4 years now!
What are the controls?
Simon Shoots uses a very innovative control scheme. You move your mouse to where you want the player to look, and the player looks there. Once you've got your eyes set on that sweet spot to move to, press W to move forward to that spot. You can also press S to move in the opposite direction (This is more useful than it first seems). You can also click to shoot at the spot you're looking at.
Was this done completely alone?
No! No game is! Every game has feedback from someone in some way!
That said, here is a list of the people and websites who helped by giving feedback and inspiration: - @Pixelhurricane
Gave feedback on the game in its early stages - Bfxr Helped produce sound effects by random generation  - The Unity Docs For always being there in my time of need
Alright alright you've convinced me! How do I download this game?
Just go down to the bottom of the page and click the link that corresponds to your operating system

I didn't like the music, but is ok for a compo game.
Loved also the transition effect between scenes!
Nice work dude!
Probably not the intended behavior, although it did give me an interesting idea for a game...
It gets really hard really fast!

However, if you still wanna play with the high score system, you can download the source code and play it in the editor. It's all been updated now, so it should work fine. @harry-light @good-enough @inventorofstuff @mao @memel06 @pixelhurricane @alexander-danilovsky @swarrly @jaime-paz-lopez @hkoisumi it's all fixed now. Have fun
