Pyramid Builder by iMer
Controls: Left: A or left arrow, Right: D or right arrow, Drop: Space
Ahh, the marvelous technology used back then to construct enourmous landmarks
This game lets you soak in nostalgia as you can relive the glorious days.
- Includes 2 FREE theme packs
- Realistic and authentic game play
- REAL TIME!!!

This is my go at ancient technology
I'm fairly happy - the game is quite polished, has sound and most of the graphics have been revised aswell
The linux build is untested and you are likely going to need more libraries than supplied. A (possibly outdated) install script for debian/ubuntu can be found here: https://github.com/SFML/SFML/wiki/Tutorial:-Installing-SFML-dependencies
webfreak001 has made an unofficial custom level browser over here: https://imer36.webfreak.org/
So if you want to make some custom levels or (if anyone made and shared any) play some custom levels head over here: https://imer36.webfreak.org
(Again this is not made by me, I have no control, I'm not moderating it, so there may well be nsfw stuff over there knowing the internet - you have been warned)
Making your own level:
You need
1. Your texture
Just a texture with the building
2. Your level json
Containing level settings
The format is described here: (or on webfreaks website)

The controls where good but calibrated to the point that it's not easy to get the shape right.
Btw I encountered a bug when I tried to drop a lot of blocks quickly, the game kinda got stuck while looping the collision sound.
I probably should've put a cooldown on dropping
I think highlighting of the current part would be better than darkening it.
My game has proven that it was impossible for aliens to build the pyramids without external help (I'm not saying it was Egyptians...)
Sphynx' head get's stuck on the ufo :)
The Linux build doesn't really work for me (and I'm frightened of that because I too have made a Linux build of my SFML game, so it probably doesn't work on other PCs too...) but I ran the Windows version through Wine with no problems.
The idea itself is great, too bad it's so short as I had a lot of fun building all that stuff. Well, at least I'm sure I wouldn't be a good alien worker.
Graphics matches this type of a game, but I'd love to see some more work on the background as it's really plain. Sounds are good too.
Bonus points for simplicity, I hate to read through 8 pages of tutorials!
very simple to play, very straight forward, congrats for that.
Dunno if it is intended but it is possible to turn the blocks upside down by swinging them around pretty hard.
