The falling speed is so low that the entire game takes on an unusual feel, especially when coupled with the crazy air control. Combined with the unusual animation of the main character, I felt at first like what the heck is this??\n\nBut soon I realized that the challenges of the platform jumping and enemies are crazily well aligned with the odd controls. Throw in the sarcastic narrator, and next thing you know I'm not minding the kind of thing that normally would be worthy of complaint, like blind jumps that sometimes are what you need to do and other times are instant death.\n\nThis was a silly weird good time, nice work!\n\nHeads up though, I didn't like having to run an installer and almost didn't play. Much better to just have a game exe that I can run, I think you'll lose a lot of people who refuse to install.","likes":1,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"blaster391","author_uid":"1014518","time":"2017-05-09T18:18:54Z","epoch":1494353934,"modified":1494353934,"text":"I think this game has potential, just a few issues with it, the actual physics is a bit weird, especially when you encounter walls (the \"hill\" sections are very difficult to navigate, sometimes you slide down for no reason), and the camera is really weird, with the way it doesn't follow the the player, it makes it very difficult to see what's ahead (which is kinda important for a platformer)\n\nI did like the sarcastic narrator though, would have been better to have a group of randomized quotes for when you die though, just to mix it up.","likes":0,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"tweedle","author_uid":"1001846","time":"2017-05-12T01:49:14Z","epoch":1494553754,"modified":1494553754,"text":"the voiceover stands out, nice work. also, those spiders LOL! ran into a lot of the same moving\/physics problems in previous comments, I'd recommend working on a better movement feel next time around.","likes":0,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"OccultOne","author_uid":"1000603","time":"2017-05-12T02:11:27Z","epoch":1494555087,"modified":1494555087,"text":"I played this on Livestream Today at the request of the Developer: https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=3zCqO_O0iIo\n\nWe discussed in livestream my thoughts. I think the character controller was the chief culprit, and you would have a pretty solid core if that could be tightened up a bit. The camera is either way too far on the right or the left, forcing a lot of blind jumps, you made the game so you know what each level holds, but new players are taking leaps of faith. keep that in mind. other than that, the VO was hilarious and incredibly sassy.","likes":2,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"gcoope","author_uid":"1011509","time":"2017-05-12T08:20:43Z","epoch":1494577243,"modified":1494577243,"text":"Interesting one!
