absolutely loved it, I can tell you put a lot of care into the presentation. It had a really chilled out vibe to it, which really gelled with the soundtrack and visuals.

I like the low poly style, was really clean. You weren't kidding when calling this "drifter". My one criticism would be that when taking photos the camera should probably be parented to the motorcycle.. I mean, you are taking photos from on it, right? Otherwise.. good job! Would you mind reviewing mine? https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/ld41-jam-game

Great sense of atmosphere. I really enjoyed just blasting around, especially with how fluid and serene it all felt. It was interesting how the addition of photography made me look at everything differently. More diegetic sound could have added a lot though. Obviously, physics are a bit janky at times and the camera could do with a system to stop it clipping through things at times, but really nice overall.

Really liked the outrun graphics style of this game. The bike handled really well. It was fun to just get lost in the desert and drive!

A relaxing game. I would have liked to have a better feel to the bike when driving. Some glitches as you could see through the terrain, especially when running uphill, but that is to be expected in 72h. Well done!

I liked the intro a lot, very good work on that part. Some camera issues, but great concept in general.

Good work.

Thank you for the web build (tired of downloading exes). The game seems a bit unpolished at the moment, but that's nothing that couldn't be fixed. I love minimalist landscapes.

**Visual**

I really like the look of the bike being low poly and tron-esque. Other than the objects your supposed to take pictures of though, the environment was a little bland. I know it's a deserts, but it would have been neat to have some other environmental things to see and maybe take pictures of as well

The camera zoom out was a cool effect, once you start getting faster

**Audio**

The small little audio effects, like wind wooshing and I think a breaking-ish sound were a nice effect, though I couldn't descern what was triggering them. The wind sound would come sometimes when moving fast, or when moving slow, or even when not moving at all, but the camera was high up. There was another sound, I believe was a break sound when slowing down, but it didn't trigger consistently for me.

The music was ok.

**Controls**

Controlling the bike was easy enough if I just wanted to ride and go fast. However, there are small raised surfaces throughout that case the bike to take air, and it seemed more than anything to want to always flip backwards. Sometimes it would 180 turn around after landing, event on a straight land impact, and I'd have to slow down, or self correct at the high speed.

The camera was fun to work with. I tried a few times to get shots of the bike going really fast and jumping over things. I'm terrible at that though, so they mostly didn't turn out great lol.

**Gameplay**

Outside of just driving around, or taking pictures of the landmarks, there wasn't much else to offer. The atmosphere of the place helped set the mood, but the environment felt a little lacking outside the landmarks to encourage exploration.

**Overall**

I really enjoyed Pokemon Snap as a kid, and It was great to see a similar style game setup with a camera and taking pictures as you move. Good work on the submission, overall it was enjoyable.

Wow... what an experience. Absolutely amazing, visuals were beautiful (characters looked a bit out of place with art compared to amazing world but its alright) and it felt nice exploring new things.. only thing i found something i had to fight back was controls themselves, sometimes i would see a person and just woosh past them at speed of light without able to brake... amazing entry nevertheless!

Wow, this was amazing for an LD game! I agree with most of the other comments; especially love the graphics and atmosphere. One addition that would have been nice would have been some sort of exit/quit button or control somewhere. If it was there, I never did find it.

And... obligatory "here's my game, plz rate": https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/the-mad-kings-tournament

Fun little game! I love the low-poly aesthetic, there needs to be more games like that. The visual effects as you got faster were great too. It's very enjoyable just driving around, backflipping off obstacles, drifting round corners and not really bothering with the objectives. The photography mechanic by itself is impressive, though.

All in all, this is a very solid entry. Good job!
