Had a lot of fun playing this! good job! though not being able to make the troops retreat when they were fighting was a bit annoying at times.

I love the idea of the game and I found it to be quite fun! The controls were a little hard to use, cause you had to deselect every time you wanted to select another group. Nice take on the theme, too ;)

Thanks for your feedback, i'm glad you liked it.

@Pyrosneak about the troops movement, I thought about that, to make possible to retreat them when fighting but I chose not to, and leave it as an extra difficulty of some sort.

@peredom I was thinking about the best way of selecting the different units, and didn't want to make so that every time you choose a new unit, it deselects the previous one, but I think thats more of a personal preference and can see how some people may or may not like that.

I feel like this game would be really fun if you gave it a little more polish! Graphics are a bit lacking, and having to deselect troops every time was an issue, but other than that I had a fun time playing this. Keep building on this game!

Score 188! :-)

This is a nice little game with basic graphics and sound.

You could have made the archers and swordsmen more distinguishable, a belt or slightly different color or a helmet would have gone a long way.

As for the gameplay, I don't know why to even select groups, I just took all of them and sent them to the nearest attackers which worked fine.

Thanks for this nice little game and keep up the good work!

I got a score of 111. Not being able to remove units from combat was hard. I lost because my swordbros ran away chasing down a large group of spawning enemies, while the other troops overran my archers.
I liked the graphics and sound effects, I wish there had been some way to get more troops to keep the game going.

Enjoyable enough to play around with the forces and defend waves of enemies.
It was rough trying to play while not being able to see the whole battlefield at once, not sure why you made it so you had to scroll around to find the enemies. Controls were tough to use with so many groups to command.
Didn't really fit the theme too well I felt, I guess running low on forces fits but it isn't like the theme is instrumental to the game concept.

Definitely would be more fun with more polish and options and variety.

Great!
Kind of having the same feeling of playing Mount & Blade(my favourite game)
if I can move unit when they are fighting , that will be better!
But it is still a fun game!

Pretty neat! I quickly realized I didn't have the mental capacity to manage different groups and just kept everyone lumped together lol. That last wave that killed me off was pretty brutal.

Honestly before i see the select all archer button the game was somewhat strange for me. After i saw it is fun. Sometimes a group of warrior die and the HUD won't refresh this group

A bit strange select mechanism. Good ol' drag-into-rectangle-and-release select would be better in my opinion. Good job otherwise

There was no way to refresh your energy =(
And because of the no-retreat mechanic, the game was less tactical, and more like, "AARG!! My stupid archers are dying and I can't do anything!" =P

Lol, cool though anyway.

Hello there... I hope your participation at LD was satisfactory...

Precious game!... Interesting... if you put some things to do example a "level selector" to play more than a game you could do a good game, but... I guess you need to use 3D models to make that... even with 3D models (simple models) you can do something good and using the correct camera angle can give the feeling of playing like an 2D game...

PD: I love the sound of the archer shooting and the footman atacking jajajaja... and the walking when they are not fighting ;-; that is precios and funny

@jahndis yeah!... I got like 160 points... the entire army fully and... then... I see the center of the "true battle" :v yeah, the enemy was there and I can't do anything else for my poor troops... the battle was over when I see te "archer vs archer" battle, and the next wave... a few archer vs the entire army troops. I guess they must surrender before die xD jajajaja...

It is an interesting way to work with a resource managging game. Well done. Of course there is some things to polish, it is normal in a game jam. As a fan of real time strategy games I enjoyed playing and I did a pretty decent work, I'll say. Nice game and good luck!

Nice tactic game. Hard to control the army but I think there is the nice part of the game: to master that.

110 ! That was quite good, I had fun controlling my little army :) However I had the impression sometimes that the biggest difficulty of the game was the selection controls :(

Fun to see an RTS game, they are very rare here. The method to select the units was... interesting. A simple box selection might be easier. A short tutorial would also be very helpful.

The game was interesting, but did not find the controls to select the troops that good. Its very difficult to understand which troops you are selecting. I would prefer only like 4 groups of troops, which would be easier to command, to have more control of the archers for example.
