The art is so cute and charming, and the mechanics feel good. The tiny details (animation on the player, bullets fire-rate speeding up over time) make the game even better despite its simplicity. Jumping was kind of unused though, and a crosshair would be good to have! Good job all the same! I reached a score of 15100 on my second playthrough and shooting the bugs does get strangely fun even with such basic gameplay. Good job!

The shooting mechanic isn't super exciting until there are a ton of bugs, where it does get really intense. I suggest some blood animations on the death of bugs to make the kill more satisfying. Solid entry overall.

I like that you were also spawning tiles and not just removing them. That keeps the game interesting. Great job :)


At first I thought the ballance is way off, but after a while I developed a system first shoot yellows, which kind of puts you in wrong position cos the reds will eat your land. Very exciting, would love to have sounds and maybe some particles. Otherwise nice and enjoyable (but from this kind that makes you angry when you lose :D) well done

Nice art, sad there are no sounds. Gameplay gets really difficult after 10000. Not bad entry!

Solid entry, overall. The controls were a bit slippery, and sometimes it felt like the waves of enemies were kind of overwhelming, but overall a job well done. I'd say if you ever try and add more to this, try and make more variety, whether it be more weapons, or enemies that behave differently.

Heyy I got 6400, not high but decent haha. Very lovely graphics, I like the mechanic of the game, and I wish the butterflies were more different in colors, or they were a bit slower. Because they are coming from all angles with high speed, I cant really focus on any of them and when they are out of my focal view, yellow and orange are not much different - just a very minor detail. Otherwise, nice graphics and mechanic, great difficult curve, intuitive controls, I had some fun time with it, great entry!

It seemed kind of boring but when there are a lot of bugs it becomes quite fun. The way the bugs are programmed combined with the fact that you die if you touch the water means means there's no use actually moving making the gameplay quite stale. The changing of the shape of the island doesn't really impact the game. It would be cooler if there was actually a need to move.

Great game. I like the movement mechanics, gets difficult the smaller the platform gets. As others have said, sound would really make the game but I had the same problem and could not add sound due to time. I would love to see this polished some more, it's a cool little game that might do well as a mobile game for passing time.

The idea is great ! Too bad that there is no music or sound design. The theme is respected and the gameplay is easy to understand. But I never use the jump because I found it dangerous to go on lonely platforme. Good job !

The game was quite intersting, and suited well the theme.
The fact that there are homing yellow bugs and red, land destroying ones really forces the player to choose carefully its target... Should one better lose land or lose a life ?

I just found a game breaking bug. If you jump and then land in water... you'll be able to walk normally on the water.

I liked it overall. Incorporates the theme, gameplay is fun.

The acceleration on the controls felt a bit too heavy and I feel a bit more tightness would help make them feel a bit less awkward.
Another thing I'd suggest is adding some sort of indicator, for example a shadow under the player, to the jump to make the player's current height clearer (as otherwise it gets a bit confusing in a 2D environment like this).

I think having acceleration on the movement of the player felt a bit weird. The theme added a nice touch to the game and it's nice how the red bugs aim for land instead of the character. Good job man!

I like the idea of having bugs that go for you and others that go for the land. There's an interesting idea behind your game, now it needs some polishing. The controls are a bit rough, I could jump and land on the water and not die, some bugs didn't seem to make harm if I don't move, the firing rate is a bit inconsistent. Some small details but if you fix them I'm sure you can come up with a nice little game. Keep up the good work!
