Nice little game ! Actually the worst thing about it that you did not add the ZQSD buttons for french keyboards, so I tried playing with arrows but it made my web page scroll so I had to get used to WASD. Otherwise it is fun to play, I like the mechanic of the attack even if I think it is a bit hard, and in my opinion, with some polish and more feedbacks the game can become better ! But it already is cool, so good job :)

the caracs need to be capped and also investing on max life let the player progress too quickly.

A great game! Pixel art is good, cute little character. I think it would make a great start for a larger project. Nice job on this compo entry

Overall a pretty good game, I might suggest making the cost of upgrades go up, and maybe reducing the multiplier a little bit

@mmason Yeah, I wish I had more time to balance the game. Oh well, I guess that's how compo goes. Thanks for playing! :)

@saering Oh, I never would have thought of that. I've enabled the fullscreen button on itch.io so hopefully the next person doesn't have to suffer the way you did. Thanks for the feedback! :)

Nice game. It is fun to run around with a lightsaber.

I also had the same scrolling with arrow keys problem (also an azerty user here) but full screen solved it, thanks!

There were some small things that confused me a bit though.
In the beginning I was confused that the enemies still looked the same after you hit them. I was wondering, did I actually hit them or am I doing it wrong? But I just tried hitting them again and it worked.

I also found the transition to the shop to be really abrupt. Suddenly the whole screen changed while I was still button jamming to kill the enemy. I was usually thinking: what did I do now, did I die? I think a freeze before going to the shop would have helped.

Nice little game. I like it. A bit frustrating that there is no Retry-Button after Game Over.

Nice compo-entry! It was really fun to waste all of your health on upgrades and die in one hit not realizing how little health you have left.

And i think my final build is too OP

Well, the concept is pretty nice and the graphics are neat!
But when maximazing the HP it quickly gets ridiculous. To the point where with one click the fps drop to < 1 fps and you can't see anything because the screen is shaking so hard. But tweaking the multipliers and capping stuff like camera-shake and this is a simple, yet addicting game!![Unbenannt.PNG](///raw/666/21/z/247f2.png)

cool game, i would personally like to see that when you hit a enemy they recoil (i almost died the first time because i expected that) however i do understand that not every body will agree. I en joyed playing this nonetheless

I nice game that probably deserves pushing a little further as it could upgrade from fun to great fun. Sword effects and nice sound would be welcome. And a little variety of course. But I know... compo : ) - well done!
