A combination of 2D Platforming and 3D Third Person Shooter. You play the Player-Character-AI. During the development process, the P-C-AI discovers that there is more than two dimensons, there are three, so it breaks the level dimensions and walks throgth the (5) unfinished levels.

pretty fun concept, needs to be expanded on a bit more, but overall a fun game!

Once you get used to the camera, it is actually pretty fun! :smiley:
The 3D aspect does improve the visibility sometimes!

Thank you for a web build (tired of downloading exe files). The story reminds me of a short novella Flatland by Edwin Abbott. :slight_smile:

Apart from the graphics / controls (tighten up next time?), it was a really fun game idea to play through though!!

@shoj92 sure, next time (in 4 months), I'll work them out in the beginning instead of programming everything with cubes and add the graphics last minute :P

@olivier-millochau I'm glad you liked it :)

I... don't... think our brains were meant to operate in that dimension! Wow what a trip, I'm glad I wasn't on LSD while playing that! Great job and nice use of the theme (and nice meta Unity intro)

I always wondered what a 2d sprite would look like in a 3d world! :smile: This was a fun little game and I really enjoyed playing and finishing it. Well done!

Not really sure how the use of 3rd dimension adds anything, if the whole game is still in 2D. Nice idea though.

Was very trippy, but I enjoyed it very much. That twist at the end as well!

Nice game! My eyes kinda hurt after playing it but it was worth it. Maybe you could add some falling objects in the 3:rd dimenstion or something to actualy use it. Great game and idea!

@grizeldi , I thought about the WASD FPS/TPS like movement, bound to a two dimensional world and its gravity. you can see very far, but only shoot really close. The point of adding this camera in the first 3 Levels was actually some experimental stuff - I had no vision of the outcome. In the end, I just want to tell a story of the poor life, an 2D-Character has, all the lies that there are just two Dimensions and stuff. And maybe, one day, someone will tell us about some fourth, fifth or twentieth dimension - we could rage then, and shoot, like the AI driven Player-Character or remember this game and live happily with one dimension more in our lifes ..

just joking ^^

Fun idea and nice Unity intro :smiley:
And also, my ears! Not the nicest shoot sound. Apart from that it was a fun little game.
