I've played your game and it's not too bad!

I especially like that when you die you get to shop. So you've made dying kind of rewarding or, not frustrating.
You stuck the theme in there as well!

Only thing I missed was an objective and an explaination for the mechanics.
The first time playing had me guessing what was what for.

Overal, good job!

It's a nice game,but could you add an option to invert y-axis?
I had a hard time playing it due to my muscle memory...

I love how Unity and company are re-creating what kids in the 80's experienced with home computers and Basic interpreters.

The game is pretty well made, the controls are inverted (y-axis) but it's not a big deal. Good graphics, good sound, fun gameplay. Very polished feel in general.

You have a future kid, please keep coming back to Ludum Dare. I'm impressed and want to see you evolution.

Interesting game. I'd like if you could connect stick and play with that (or maybe I missed something?). It has polished feel, although the collision with energy/coin could be a bit more easier to hit them.

A good entry. The physics which allow to control the plane is smooth. I like the main gameplay - easy, but addictive. I would like to invert the controls - please think about this option. The background track is pleasant, but I want more FX. Well done ++

Great job on this game, gameplay was simple but fun. As others have said some sound effects would help but overall good job :grin:

Can't believe you're only 11 and made such a great game. I love the graphics. The UI looks really nice, I love how you blend the UI with the game. Agree with others, inverted control would be nice. Music needs some works and sound effects would be a nice addition. Other than that, good job!

Go keep making games, I have a little regret that I didn't start developing games from a young age. So, good luck to you!

Why doesn't this have more ratings?

Likes:
- the warning sound is awesome. need to remember that
- pretty nice graphics :)
- a whole shop progression element to it, neat!

Challenges:
- the music is nothing to write home about... but at least you tried. :)
- what were you thinking with the upside down controls? up should be down, and vice versa. all right, now I sound stupid. but planes work that way. :)

Overall:
- underrated entry with a lot of original assets and a nice airplane theme :)

I like the graphics, and the gameplay part was a nice idea. The controls were in reverse for me, I expected to go up when I press down, and vica versa. I can see you've put your best into this, for example I really liked the HUD, the trails were anice touch and the movement was very smooth. Keep it up :)

This was a fun game with some neat ideas. I liked flying around and picking up the floating things dodging the occasional kamikaze pilot! I liked the audio clue that you were running out of energy.

Suggestions:
- Like others have said, allow the Y to be inverted. I played so many flight sims as a kid now I can't even play third person shooters without inverting the controls :smile:
- Sounds when you crash horribly would make it more fun.
- Maybe make the player a little smaller on the screen so it is a little easier to see where you are headed and what obstacles are in front of you.

Bugs:
- Didn't find any. Nice job!
