Genus Perditum by Baconinvader
Descend as far down as you can, fighting monsters and buying equipment. Be careful though, because the more coins you have, the stronger the monsters get. Sorry about the name, it sounded cool when we first came up with it. All criticism is very welcome, no matter how honest.
Used: Python 3.6 Pygame cx_freeze (python to exe converter) FL Studio Paint.net sfxr
NOTE: Version 1.0.1 of the game was released BEFORE the deadline, during the submission hour.

Some notes I had:
* Controls are a little slide-y for my personal liking. But that's just me.
* Overall a good concept, I enjoyed it.
Overall though, I enjoyed it! Thanks for participating!
Got an error when closed the app. Just to notify the bug or know if it's a problem with my pc :cold_sweat:

I made the game using the Pygame library, but the engine I made myself. As for the bug, it's nothing to do with your PC, It's just an error that occurs when you quit pygame which I haven't fixed yet. I was sort of worried during the Jam that if I changed the code cx_freeze would refuse to compile it.
The controls felt very unresponsive to me making it a bit hard to get into.
