Your job is to keep the company running and to do that you must keep the servers operational. Maintain the servers, order new upgrades and make more money.

This one was tough for me, and I wasted so many hours fixing issues that my sleepy brain created. Hopefully I can expand this in the future to add some purpose to it  . If you leave a comment I will try to get to yours as soon as I have a spare moment, thanks!

The idea is nice but if i place a server rack it is not snapping and don't work.

So far this is the game I've spent the longest playing, maybe because it reminds me of real life. Premise is simple, fits the theme quite well, works fine on a 4K display: very nice! However, it suffers from one devastating bug: picking up a 1024-meg rack upgrade is the last you'll see of it. Dropping the 1024-meg rack or inserting it into a slot will produce a 128-meg rack in its place. Lost 30 grand doing this, and at that point it became clear that I should be quitting.

But aside from that, I like this a lot. Good job!

@falzock: You're probably dropping the rack with RMB. I did the same on my first go, because you intuitively assume the "drop" key is what you need to use... that got me to glitch an upgrade in one of the servers. You have to use LMB instead, then all works as intended.

There is a lot more going on here than would initially be obvious. Nice entry! Shows a lot of logic behind the scenes. There is something cool about it and definitely something of note here :) PUC! PUC!

Your game has a very nice look and feel, some more gameplay features would really do alot, like fixing faulty rack or something! The bug with the 1024 racks is probably allready known, good work!

Good use of the theme & surprisingly fun given how simple it is. I like the audio vibe as well. Could use some gamefeel improvements, like showing you what you're carrying and having some indicator of when a potential placement is valid. Still pretty fun, this could be really cool with some tweaks and more mechanics. Nice work!

Great idea. Will come back and play this a bit more. Extra good to see the in game description on how to do things.

Good job. I like the idea a lot. Its a shame about the 1024mb rack. You have a good core game loop going here. All that is left is to add some more goals, upgrades, consequences. It could make a cool 1st person tycoon style game. In short, give us more stuff!!! It would be a nice quality of life improvement to allow removing of non-full drives. Be proud! You did well!

Thanks @arch , I had an idea to expand on it and add some depth to the gameplay, but I was so tired and making mistakes that as we can see with the 1024 issue I didn't get them all. I'll keep what you said in mind though as I look to expand it, thanks for the feedback

Interesting concept, could make for a great server IT simulator with more work. Would have loved to see more going on in the room. Such as NPCs moving around and maybe even commenting on the work your doing. As well would have liked to see stuff around the room, PCs, servers, wires, tools, broken PCs being fixed, etc.

Other than that the game was ok, there was a bug were the 1024MB shows as a 128 and is placed as a 128.

Really good entry with a hypnotical mood. I like the powerfull aesthetich which is allowed under Unreal Engine. The main gameplay is interesting - addictive. I would appreciate some help placing servers in rack because it's not always easy - and sometimes a little bit frustrating. Overall this is a good entry. Really well done. Thank you ++

Pretty cool! It feels like you're on the brink of a first-person tycoon style game, although without any goals at this point aside from making numbers go up, it feels like it could be something akin to a first-person Cookie Clicker too.

I found the music a bit repetitive, but I like the sound effects. They're cute.

I think this could be pretty cool with more goals, risks, and rewards. Good job.
