Yeah, I agreed the theme is almost not there, sorry for that, maybe next time.
Thanks for the comments anyway. ;)

This was a fun little puzzle game! At first it was easy, but when you get to the large central area with the connecting rooms it got difficult! Relaxing music and the sound effects fit the whole vibe.

Suggestions:
Change the sprite scaling to nearest neighbor (or whatever the Unity equivalent is) so the sprites keep a crisp look close up. Bob looks a little blurry

I think it might be even more challenging if you were to allow Bob to walk over arrows that weren't facing him and put some obstacles in the rooms.

Bugs:
I was through about 5 or 6 rooms in the large area. I hit P to zoom out and plan my route, and instead of zooming it made all the energy in the level disappear and wouldn't let Bob walk anymore. I lost all my progress. :grimacing:

@minibobbo Thanks for the feedback! I'll check out the sprite scaling as you suggest, it maybe improve the graphics on Bob. Also will hunt the bug to keep it bug-free

The mechanics that not allow Bob go over arrows that aren't facing him are on purpose and I design the puzzles with that in mind, but now with more time I'll test your idea.

A fun game. I liked the challenge of the connecting rooms. As mentioned by other people, the zoom feature caused the coins to disappear.

Nice puzzle game, I like how I had to pre-think the route he will take before executing it. Unfortunatly ran into a bug half-way through the big area when I pressed P to zoom out, all coins disappeared and I couldnt continue. With a bit of polish this could be a really nice puzzle game, well done!

@isaac-plunkett @marc-grabow The game now shouldn't have the bug that caused the power coins to disappear when zoomed. Thanks for the feedback! ;)

Enjoyable, basic puzzle game idea. Easy to control, graphics worked well. Not really related to the theme, and needs a bit more innovation as it is similar to quite a number of puzzle games that work like this.

Man some of those puzzles got tricky! Nice littler puzzler. As mentioned the tie to the theme is a little weak but meh it's a game jam. The audio sounds like it was made with one of those grid song generators haha. Pretty smart for something like ludum dare if that's what was used.

Great little puzzle game. Reminds me of the board game Ricochet Robots a bit. Music was atmospheric and sound effects did their job. Didn't finish the game cause I got stuck (I'm bad at puzzle games) but that is a good thing. If puzzle games aren't challenging they can get quite boring. I like that there are actually two puzzle games in this. The micro puzzle of each 'level' and the macro puzzle game of the world. Seems like choosing which way to go in the grid can be very important.

Great music, great puzzle feel. Reminded me of the old school pipedream game on dos.

Once I got to the level that pans out and has all sorts of chambers, I was seemingly unable to do anything though! I was so disappointed as I wanted to beat that level.

Great work though, still.

The game itself felt great! Although just because you tell people to not be harsh on your programmer art, doesn't mean people should rate it higher. Art is almost as important of a part of a game jam as the programming. It's something you get good at with time and practice though, so keep working at it. For some reason the game crashed while I was doing the large room. I refreshed the page and it crashed again. ;-;

One suggestion I do have for your art is to take off the blurred edges on the character. It looks really weird when you're zoomed in so far.

Anyway, nice work for 48 hours!

Wow this is cool! Nice build up, and then when I saw the big level I was like WTF!?! But once I started it seemed doable though. Cool game mechanics and fun puzzles. Not too easy but because of the small segments it was comprehensible you know it is possible. Love the music and the SFX!

Well done!

A well-executed, well-planned puzzler. The introductory level, spelling out how to play, was a good idea. I thought it was also clever how each individual room contributed towards a larger level. Nicely done.

This game is a nice puzzle game ! I have an ***advice*** for you if you are planning to make a new update(I'm a fellow Unity user) : for all your sprites and animations go and switch "bilinear" to "Point no filter". Your art is so beautiful, but this is why it seems a bit weird !
