The music was catchy and once I figured out how the mapped scrolled I was up and blasting space pirates in no time. Reminded me alot of the old command and conquer games with the unit building and "lasso" select.

Not bad, and congrats on your first LD!

Alright so, I've always been a fan of rts so I might be a little biased. I thought it was fun to play, but it felt a little too slow (takes too long for enemies to come in, only one wave of enemies come at a time instead of multiple). Enemy units on the mini map are also a little hard to see with the dark red on black background. I guess I also would of preferred if it was zoomed out a bit, but that might be personal preference.

I did like the concept of it though since it was fun to control the ships and have them mow down the pirates, and still pretty solid for making in such a small time. Good work!

I liked the fully implemented RTS mechanics you had in here. The movement felt really good. I was annoyed by the screen size a bit, and would have liked it to be full screen as There was such a small area in which I had to be to scroll the screen. The loop is there, but it is quite simple. I never felt like I had to micromanage units since I was only ever attacked on one flank at a time.

I'm impressed by how much you accomplished, don't see this kind of game that often. Agree with others that I wanted to zoom out, and I guess there's so many strategy game features you could add, but what's there is all really tight! It was a nice balance between tower defense simplicity with controls more like a strategy RTS, really smart design. And yeah I liked the quirky music too!

I really like the game. Controls of the ships are amazing. You can make a lot of features as upgrades and so on. But the game is already really nice. I do not like the music so much, but it is only personal view. I enjoyed the game. Great job!

This was pretty neat. I like the art, but I wanted more. I loved the enemy ship designs and the thruster effects really sold the artstyle for me. Mechanically I felt kind of helpless. I couldn't turn my ships, or at least I couldn't figure out how, so I kind of just had to get them far enough away from the enemies so they were facing them when they got there or they would get killed pretty fast. Not too shabby for a jam though. Good work overall.

I don't think anyone else made a game like this for the competition. Nice work on getting something unique.

It's an interesting change on tower defense when you can move your towers and they can also die. I ended up kiting all the bad guys instead of walling out so it took a bit of awareness to make it through.

The pace was a little slow like others have said, but it feels like the game was designed with that in mind. I had a bit of difficulty scrolling the map: having a full screen option would solve it.

Nice game. The graphics are good, the music is a bit annoying. And the basics of the game give you a good fundamental for a bigger game of this. Well done.

We streamed your game with Danae plays on Twitch. :) Here's a link:

Not a bad start for an RTS, but it needs a lot of polish. And of course, balance :) Overall the feeling I got from the game was hopelessness, with no chance of getting enough energy to defend myself. Probably needs resources or something other than just building units. Good job anyway :)
