Great concept and actually very fun game! The presentation is a little rough around the edges but what can you do. Also I don't know if this is intentional but on level 6 you can skip all the saws by just going around the outside. 7.5/10

Really like the lo fi graphics and sound. Really fun game, and hard too! I like that some levels seem almost impossible at first but then you figure them out and can get further. The one thing that could use some improvement is the controls, I find them a bit stiff.

I liked this a lot, and ended up getting sucked in the by the gameplay! I ended up beating quite a few levels once I got the hang of it! The only thing I would say is that would be cool if there were a couple of different tilesets. Well done!

Very fun and intense. Overall a great game.

A few suggestions -
- There should be a very slight time forgiveness when walking off an edge and when you can't jump. (Like in the old mario games)
- Reset the level when you fall off the bottom faster.
- Make the buzz saws slightly smaller.

I like the art quite a bit and the level design had more depth than I expected at first. The controls felt a bit stiff and like the poster above I think you should consider adding a grace period for jumping after you walk off an edge. Maybe just a frame or two. I kept pressing the jump button a frame too late and dying because of it. Nice work!

Pretty fun, I got stuck at level 16. The difficulty curve is not really well done as the level don't really scale difficulty. The level 6 can be skipped other than that I enjoyed the art style and the catchy beat. The concept is innovative and well executed, I had alot of fun and would recommend.

Loved this! It was a good platformer with an interesting concept, as well as great music and art. I beat the game, and had fun the whole way through. I agree with what @nbilyk said about resetting the level when you fall off the bottom. Making the game's reset as fast as possible makes it a whole lot less annoying when you die. Great work and thanks!

I love hardcore 2D platform games!

I agree with everything @nbylik said: I don't mind dying infinite times in hardcore games, but I want to be able to die 2754 times per minute, I don't want to wait some seconds after I fell.
Also the game is already hard enough, let me jump from the edge of the platform!

Maybe I would have liked much jumping with the UP arrow instead of space, so I could scratch my nose while I constantly repeat the same level.

Apart from that this game is great:
* minimal and simple graphics
* the concept of zooming to the world is funny and effective
* the music loop would have been too short for another kind of game, but it matches perfectly with your game since it contributes, together with the zooming, to let you run as fast as possible right to your death

Impressive work for a 48 hour game!

Tell me how can I know when you'll design some more levels in a post-compo edition!

Love the idea! Very original way to say that players have only limited time. Great job on this game.

The idea is super fun, and the game is also fun to play. The level design and the player control is okay, but they could have been a bit better. To me the music is fantastic. Overall a great LD game. Well done.

Great Platformer! I really like the idea! It makes it more fun and challenging!
Also very cool backgroundmusic!

Some minor notes:
- try to make the hitboxes for the spikes smaller
- make your player move a bit more smoothly
- give the game more visual effects

Overall a good job! Great game with much potential! Had fun playing it!

Yeah! I won! Small issue, there is "level:21" above "You Win" caption. And this game could be played in Linux with Wine, I checked. Good job!

Really simple and still addcting platform challenge, really enjoyed it! The mechanic with the screen closes to you as time passes is really interesting idea.
Just try to make the challenges a little more balanced across the levels and a little more polish in graphics and i think this game can became really great! good job!

Also, test my compo entry here too, need some more few ratings too now! thanks ;D https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/anthills-multitask

Do you know that feeling when all your muscles start to cramp because you're so angry at this game? I know it pretty well now. Level 10 was too much for me. The strength of this game is definitely the challenge and insane time limit. Besides that, the graphics and sounds are kept simple, the music is nerve-wrackingly fitting, and the controls are hard to handle -- all of this is productive to the intended feeling this game conveys. So in that respect, great job!

It's really good that when you die you can start to try again right away. It's sometimes confusing that the levels are right-to-left without an apparent reason, but that's a little nitpick.

The gameplay is really good. The idea with the zooming level and that it is a timer for completion is very interesting. The music fits well and is nice and gritty sounding, and I think the level design is nice as well. I got stuck at level 16 though, don't know if I missed a simple solution. I wish that you could jump from platforms instead of sliding off the edge, and the hitbox of the saw or the main character seemed a little larger than the sprite

I thought this was a fun little platformer. I liked the time loop that you had to quickly break out of. I thought the zooming in was a little annoying but the shortness of the stages allow you to avoid that with speed.

Great concept.

- Masking a time limit within the zoom mechanic is inspired. It adds a great tension when you can't see what you're doing
- Good music, loops too quickly though I think
- Nice and simple concept. Good that you didn't try too much extra stuff and kept it pure.
- Controls need a bit of work. In a game like this I think it's good to have real precision. That includes some forgiveness on ledges, more air control.
- Definitiely need to put a boundary on levels to restart after falling. Perhaps a reset button too.

Overall a great one. I got to about level 18. 5 was very frustrating, the rest good stuff.

GOOD JOB

Great game! I love the concept and how everything closes in. The sound and music are excellent too. My only problem is I wish it had controller support but not that big of an issue, just a preference :)
