I purchased like 4 assault then spent the rest of my points on upgrades (Which didn't seem to do anything) and i couldn't last anymore than 8 seconds seconds. Maybe i spent the points wrong i'm not sure. But a tips screen or something similar would of been nice on the purchase upgrade screen. This game is somewhat RNG-heavy and I didn't balance the stats enough. \n\nJust if anyone's curious as to what the stats do:\nVitality adds 10hp per point spent, with the base hp being 200\nSpeed adds 0.15 speed points from a base of 2.5 (useful in early rounds)\nRange makes weapons attack range longer, but this stat is very underpowered.\nDamage wasn't even implemented hahahh \n\nI also agree that there needed to be a tip screen. I can see how new players could get confused easily. \nthis is what happens if you slack in the early parts of the jam hahhha, you need to make sure that your players get a proper chance to understand your mechanics. The design of the game is awesome, although it's simple it fits the game so well and I just love it. The rng element of when and where weapons dropped was annoying at times but as soon as I had gathered a large and strong enough army I found that it wasn't a problem most of the time. I would love to see an expansion of this game where you have multiple sports and each sport has levels of enemies (like what you have now). Also very funny (bottles and roses and explosions). Gameplay itself wasn't actually very demanding, just clicking on the audience like crazy. But thinking about how to balance the points spent made up for this.
