Chemtrails by DarrenH

Chemtrails is a local multiplayer game for 1-4 players where you must minimise the spread of disease with your chemtrails.

Move with WASD/Arrows/D-Pad and try box in the matching disease.
Space/A is submit
Escape/Start is back - (esc is a bad hotkey for a web build as I found out...)
If you want to play with controllers you need to set the controller number to the player number.

Neat game. The game mechanic is a bit unclear at first, but when I figured it out it was really fun. The generation of the disease is the exact right amount of predictable for it to feel like you can do a good job of containing it if you plan well. Also, the music was really overwhelming at first, but it turned out to actually fit the game pretty dang well. Good stuff.

Pretty neat that you have to try and contain things. Could be a neat geometry game. The animation on the disease backgrounds caused a hypnotic visual effect when a lot of the screen was covered.

Good job on the theme, really difficult vs the ai.

Really cool application of the theme. I got the hang of it pretty quick and had a good time trying to cut off the a.i blocks from growing. I could see it being really fun for 2 or more players!

Only played with 1 player but it was fun and went with the theme very well!

Cool game. The idea in itself fits the theme well (reminds me of that game back on old Windows systems, where you play a spider trying to trap a snake), and the art/audio complements it really well.

The single player is quite hard. It either needs careful planning or is unbeatable as of now.

I tried playing multiplayer on my own as well, but it's impossible to independently coordinate both players. If I press "A" for one, I automatically end up pressing the left arrow button for the other as well xD
Anyway, I think you intended it to be Vs, but it looks like it could be a cool CoOp-MP, since for example blue colored diseases erase the green player, so blue should be helping out green and vice versa to keep both diseases in check.

Overall a good entry, just a bit too difficult to beat.

Neat concept, and great use of the theme! I might have to come back and try it again with another person or three, I couldn't seem to fully contain the outbreak playing solo :)

Interresting game. However, the score does not lead us to do what is in the description : actually, the slower but the longer the disease spreads, the higher the score... So it rewards letting the whole population slowly get infected, rather than containing as fast as possible the infection..

I just love this kind of game, and here, the music fits perfectly!
Hard when solo, haven't tried it with other persons, but maybe a little bit easier haha
