It's so sad that gameplay is so hard to handle because the game has really pretty graphics and you've found a really nice way of implementing the theme. The idea of the old master is very clever.

Hey! I adore the theme of magic! Great graphics. As for me goblins were more difficult than the golem. Anyway, good job

I felt the controls weren't super intuitive. But good job for a game jam game!

Very interesting use of the theme. Gameplay is a little confusing, and it could've used some sound, though.

I really like the graphics!

Love the graphics and the idea, the gameplay made it hard though!

Good work, the graphics are cool. The game is happy with the easy if all the time to move, the hardest part is to find this golem, and I found and killed it, YEA. It was fun. If you work with animations and add some statistics, it will be cool.

Similar feedback to the others - the gameplay side of things feels a little unclear and underdeveloped, but it looks nice and the idea's good :)

Absolutely love the graphics. They would benefit with sound. The controls for me are not very pollished. As well as the camera. Hard to walk and fight the enemies. No feedback on their healt, half the time counld't understand if I was hitting them or not. Like the mechanics with the old wizard, it is a great idea. Overall the game has much room for improvement. Nice try though

I think that the controls are bit too hard, and the gameplay is too simple compared to the graphics.
The graphics are very nicely done and the animations too! Also, I liked how you approached the theme.

The Graphics are nice, but some sound and more intuitive controls would've made it a much better experience.

Sadly very hard to control since the camera angles often make one or both characters hidden.

Once I got the hang of the controls I was able to win but I'm in agreement with the others, they need to be fine tuned as they felt like they were setup for a different camera angle. I like the low poly art style and the idea of having the wizard follow you.

Nice graphics and the idea is cool. Controlling the character was definitely the hardest part. I would recommend to have the controls so that the arrows always go to the same direction, by global axis, and not by the character. Other than that, nice entry!

Game looks good, but controlls are really hard.

The idea of having the wizard follow you is a good one. That old guy doesn't move as fast; I know just how he feels!

** What I liked **

__ + __ The Game presentation that sells the game well
__ + __ Finally some magic in this tech jam

** What imo could be improved **

__ - __ It feels buggy, characters are knockbacked out of the screen and moves weirdly, attacks doesn't match the animation timing.
__ - __ Controls : having left and right turning your character instead of moving it in that direction have been abandonned in action games since… Little Big Adventure ? Those controls might be used for car or robot control, but mostly keep it for micro machine.
__ - __ Graphics in top view are not as attractive as they are in the description. The magical effect doesn't really mix well the the rest as well.

** Overall **

I see a lot of work there, unfortunatly it's not as good as it could be yet. You might also want to take inspiration from recent games to identify and re-use working recipes. But really, you already have a game and descent 3D graphics ! This experience will get you further in the polish phase next time, keep going ! Thanks for the game =)

I like the idea here, but I found the gameplay to be simply bizarre. The graphical style is quite appealing, but the controls are an odd choice. Left/right to rotate and up to move forward feels sensible for vehicles, but I cannot say the same for a running human. Furthermore, the player's attacks have basically no weight or feedback behind them - I couldn't even tell if I was hitting my targets except when they went flying away. At least the wizard blast was considerably more satisfying to use. Some kind of health indicator for the enemies would have worked wonders here. There's a lot of good work here, but I don't think it quite came together.
