I scored 70. After it's really difficult.
However, the way I get this score is trying to avoid all the battery and keep at a comfortable speed.
I think this is not really an healthy system.
Here is some little opinion:
I think there are two ways may do a little improvement of the game
First one is let you win when you can full battery charge
But I think this may be too difficult and not match with your high score system
I think the second one may be cooler
In current system, if you get push back, you just back and can't get forward again unless you died
if I can go a little bit forward everytime I eat battery. It will encourage me to eat battery.
Also, if you keep eating and going forward, your risk to hit on sth are higher!
Therefore, I think that may be a more funny and more balance system!
I made it to 325 meters, but I only drove at half speed, else it was to hard.
The game could have been more fun if you did what @goldranger suggested in his comment.
I agree with @goldranger having a way to move forward with a thrust that eats energy and a win condition.
Also agree with @chriscoe Coe the mood would improve grately with some trepidant music, I'm thinking sort of g-switch soundtrack (http://vascof.com/GSwitch.html).
Another thing, when you go fast and press spacebar continuosly you dont fall through the holes.
I scored around 200 the strategy was not picking up all the energy boosts as if I go slower its easier. The win condition of full battery would solve this.
Congrats!
Nice concept and well realise.
So bad that the car don't come back to the right after hit (without die) a wall.
Good job!
Good job.
