I'll start with the best aspect in my opinion: The tutorial is excellent! It's just the way it's supposed to be. Let the player use them to progress.

The game is almost too difficult, but considering the short span, it might be okay. You really have to exploid every advantage you have to make the hurdles with little room for error.

Also, nice exploiting of the theme! Now that I think of it, you used it 2 times even!

Good job given the time!

Great tutorial and art. Quite a fun game but it needs some sounds and a lower difficulty.
Good job!

The charging of the jump was a bit unintuitive. It would have controlled a lot better if it was hold jump to charge and release to execute the jump. Also the platform placement for the climbing corridor segment was a little too cramped, it was easy to hit my head on a higher platform and fail the jump, it was quite frustrating especially with the explosion chasing you.

The art looks nice and consistent. Good job!

@zchen Thanks for the feedback! I agree about the charge jump, I actually tested out hold space to charge jump, but it meant that a normal jump wouldn't trigger until space release also, and that made it feel unresponsive. It's a problem I'd still like to solve, but I'm not sure the best approach, I will have to research more platformers. ^_^ As for the climbing bit, in my mind it was the only challenging bit (I had been running and jumping around for a while at that point) so I wanted it a bit hard, but I probably should have tweaked it a bit.

This game is nice. The tutorial was good, the climbing corridor was tricky, the game was fun though, and I thought without the corridor, the game probably would have been too easy. Anyway, nice particle effects the graphics were great, I really liked the style, it all felt very professional.

Nice game! I enjoy play this. Difficulty is well dosed. Not easy but not hard. Good job.

Maybe a level would be good, cause I have the feeling to do a tutorial only ^^.

Good job!

I have to agreed with the non intuitive jump mechanic and I did miss the sound to complete the emergency atmosphere, but it's a nice game tho
Well done

I love how you emphasized 'running out of power' on 2 different fronts :)

I like the take on the theme. It's definitely a bit of a tense game since you are a little hesitant on the controls. I found the slipperiness to be the harder part rather than the jump controls, and I'd slip off ledges when I didn't want to. The slowdown effect when you're nearly dead is pretty awesome, though I died just about every time when that happened so it was more a slow, agonizing nuclear death rather than a close call haha.

Basically a nice game! I had some trouble finding the tutorial in the first run (I just instinctively pressed right without looking too too much and directly fell into the first pit), but once I restarted I looked out for it. What really bothered me was the charged jumping mechanics, for me it was way too unintuitive and hard to use.

Nevertheless, I like your interpretation of the theme. Well done!

A bit hard (yeah, that charging jump part !), the rest is good, reminds me of that game with a dino. You now have a good base for a game !

Very clever use of the theme. I found it a little too hard, But considering the length of the game, hard may be better. Overall, Well done!

What kind of nuclear center have this sort of post to get out of it ? x) Nice game ! Art is quite good and gameplay is nice. Controls are a little rough at the beggining, but when we understand the mechanics, that is wuite pleasent. Cool entry :)

@hitchh1k3r I loved it!

I liked:

The Polish: Very, very polished. I didn't find any glitches and it played very nicely.

The Gameplay: It was fun too! I'm upset that it was short because I liked it. The difficulty was good too because although I failed a few times, I learned and moved on.

The Art: I liked the art too, especially the end part with the particles. It was simple but very pleasing to look at, and the animations were a nice touch.

I didn't like:

Lack of Sound: This is the only thing I didn't like. A simple background track would have been nice just so it's not complete silence. Although, I can't blame you since the rest of the game is so good.

I would be disappointed if you didn't get top 100 in at least one category. Well done!

Pretty cool game. I found the controls a bit awkward and the game was a bit short, but you made a tiny coherent story so that's nice :) Well done!
