Would you mind uploading a standalone (.zip) version? I don't like installing things during LD. When you do, @ me and I'll make sure to play this.

Pretty good concept, although I admit that I had no idea what I was doing most of the time. I think some better level design that guided the player to figure out the interaction system would be nice.

I did like the way the game handled failing the tutorial :smiley:

Really nice stylized graphics. Of course the "game" is not finished. The only thing you can do is move. But still I like that you published it, with each try you become better game developer. Hope you will make finished game next time. Удачи!

The concept of this was really cool! Along with that the art was killer! I think a big problem with this is how slow the character moves and how there wasn't a reset for dying. Great Job!

innovative indeed, and I enjoyed the graphics. I would have loved if there was audio in the game submission, but I understand due to the limited time, and amazing attention to detail on the artwork. As others pointed out, there is the problem with the character moving super slow. But overall, I really liked this submission!

Hi, game to slow, concept interesting but speed needs to be multiply by 4 I'm think.

Game art is great!
I'm congratulate to make your first game on Ludum Dare :D

Having some music in this could really solidify the mood set by the art. Agreed with others here that the jump was far too slow, the player can kind of get into a rhythm after a while, but the jumps drag it down. Very nice graphical style, good work!

Love the aesthetic and the idea of going really deep, almost meta, with the text adventure mechanics to move around an environment. I didn't know what my goal was, or if there was one, and I just moved randomly until my character fell. Is there a game to be played or is that it, a showcase of some itneresting mechanics? I really like the mood and the art, music would help a lot.
🎤 Rs11s21n
25. Apr 2018 · 18:25 UTC
@raindrinker yea it's more showcase because i make tutorial thing too long and have really little time for make this game-play in really early view. btw try experiment with tutorial i think it's most interesting piece of my "game" ("" because still no game play)) yes i thinking about music for after jam version i try to make it but it sound better than bad but not good XD

and thanks for try this)

Good Idea and artwork to support that. The movement could have been faster than I think hindsight is 20-20. Slow controls really give the vibe of those old text adventure letting you sink in pace.

This is a clever idea, feels a bit like a card version of "choose your own adventure." It did feel a bit clunky and didn't really have an overall goal, which would have been nice. But good job!

Very good game, the tutorial is ver funny (I tried to get the maximum of wrong point and I had 33).

Is there a end? Because the only way I found to continue is an object on the floor but when I do "use", it says me: "Try again! Use another way." but I don't see any other way^^

And, the graphics are really really well done!

What I liked :thumbsup::

* Good idea
* Good music
* Good graphics and stylization

My comments:thinking:
* The hero and the environment of one color is sometimes difficult to watch

What can add :new: :
* Control on a numlock keyboard
* Cancel button(4) and return to direction selection

I would be very glad if [you review my game](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/last-stand-1) too:mag:

Hey! Thanks for joining me on stream :smile: Was a pleasure playing your game!

Man it was really funny when the guy fell through the chat box and the tutorial had alot of thought into it!

Definately has the capacity to have a proper story, maybe a detective game where you have to find clues in a crime scene?

Possibly the addition of a kind of inventory system to keep track and use items, although this is a stretch goal :yum:

Again, it was a great play and I wish you the best on further development - It looks great! :smiley:
