Home is a 2d top down shooter wehre every time you shoot an enemy your playable space is getting smaller. But you can allso make it bigger again if you shoot the blue orbs and red enemys will make your playtime harder but they give you a lot of score too. so have fun beating your scores and slowly unlock the Storry of Home!

Great work for such a fast turnaround! Every round only lasted about 30 seconds for me though, as the space runs out extremely quickly.

Very nice little game with a good and simple design ! I manage to get 100 points but the game is very hard !

I like the dark vibe that's going on. If there were some more creapy sounds with the little monsters I would have been scared. Could be a cool next step to take your game to the next step.
Nice job on this one mate, cheers!

wtf the game is so hard but nevertheless a nice idea. I really liked the simple style it gave it a fitting depressing mood

Hmmm, I couldn't get any blue balls ever, just kept dying at the same point every time. Am I doing something wrong?

The game is nice and simple. I like how the game seems seamless, also dark mood and sounds! Good game!

The lighting/vignette effect worked really well on this game, and gave it a good atmosphere. I think the blue orb should come a bit earlier, by the time I saw the first one I didn't feel like I had enough room to maneuver around the enemies that came with it.

The Light shrinks too quickly... But the Graphics are good. Nice Job.

The atmosphere is really creepy, it reminds me a lot of Limbo. The minimalist art and sound design really accentuate the things that aren't silence or darkness, specifically the angry red guys and the jingling blue orbs. The concept of high scores unlocking story is icing on the cake, though I didn't really get much out of the story after unlocking three images.

As for the gameplay, I would have liked a slightly faster player and bullet speed, but that may be personal preference. I think as it is, the game is already pretty fun and refreshingly difficult amidst a sea of extremely easy ludum dare games.

Overall, I'd certainly recommend this game for the dark atmosphere and hard as nails gameplay.

good game but can't take it seriously with the sfx. the mechanics are solid and its fun to play

Took me a while to realize that killing the enemies is what made the light area smaller. After figuring that out I just avoided them as long as possible until I had to kill the redo ones and made it to about 175 points before dying. Overall was fun.

Great adherence to theme! All of the mechanics nicely balanced each other (i.e choice between dodging or shooting) and it kept me playing for a long time! The only tweak I would make would be the speed of the enemies- I feel if they were a bit slower then it would make the choice between shooting or dodging even more fun. Great game!

Too hard for me. The main enemy dying sound was pretty funny but probably not in a good way with the overall mood of the rest of the game. If there was some way to give an edge to players like me who couldn't progress very far, maybe by reducing the difficulty for us losers, that could help.

Wow this was tough - took me ages to get onto the red characters! The blue orb sfx was a little loud compared to the others, but I thought the sfx worked well overall. Nice graphic style, well presented. The physics worked well, I liked the kick back from fireing projectiles. My only gripe was the difficulty, but maybe I need more practice.
