The Greater Evil by AndyGates01

Try and get yourself to the sacrificial altar without the forces of good converting you...
The game is a bit light on content, but is fairly functional. Let me know what you think!

Then, on my second run (I had to reload the itch.io page), it worked properly. I was going back to the start whenever I was hit by the good guys.
The things that I liked the most: the level design MECHANICS (not the way you placed them, but the ideas behind each obstacle), the music and the art of the priests.
What I disliked the most:
- I had to go back to the very start at every failure. It's not a big deal, specially because its a short game.
- On the second floor, there's a specially evil jump you have to do. It felt really out of place, because the other parts were designed more forgivenly (is that a word?)
That's it! Congratulations on the entry, being able to complete a compo is crazy and you deserve praise for that. Cheers!
This is just all around a great entry!
Level design is definitely a weak point, I didn't really leave myself enough time so it was very much thrown together and could definitely do with some tweaking.
Now their seems to be a mix-up with the commands, as the ones indicated here are not the same as the one wrote on the web version, but it's easy enough to get it right.
Well done!
I found that the game was a little frustrating early on. The fact that the priests can convert you even when their back is to you was annoying. The traps, however, were brilliant (crosses hanging from the ceiling and holy water).
The overall game play is good, but you have to be very precise to make the jumps over the priests. It would be great if their range was slightly smaller to be more forgiving.
Funny game, a little creepy :scream:
Really nice, good job! :v:
I really struggled with the first jump between the cross and the bible on the third screen. I tried a few times, but eventually had to give up. I agree with @glimaleite that it would have been less frustrating to start over from the beginning of each screen instead of from the level; I probably would have given it a few more attempts.
Even so, I played it for a long time - because the guitars and awesome graphics kept me coming back for more!
