Super Tiny Adventure Game by sinclairstrange

So basically what it is, is a 2D "collectathon" made in under 72 hours. It contains four worlds and one hub world. I wanted to see if it's possible to make one of these under the time limit and it turns out it is just possible.
I had to sadly cut a world out (it was either that or have music for the game.) I also didn't have time to add in a options menu, or cut-scenes that I originally had planned, but oh well, it's a LDjam game, it wouldn't be the same if things weren't cut or hurriedly finished. So sorry about the lack of polish here and there :?
Controls:
Arrow keys = Move Z = Jump (You can double jump!) X = Roll (or Ground Pound while in the air) C = Shoot (When you have the gun power up activated) Press Down to Skip Dialogue Text Press Up to Enter and Exit Worlds (while over the machines)
SCREENSHOTS:
Exe File: http://www.sinclairstrange.com/SUPERTINYADVENTUREGAMEv1.5c.zip (Had to change from dropbox because they're utter crap and keep blocking downloads.
(There might be some stuttering for some Windows 10 users, thanks to Microsoft's, utterly utterly crap "Curators" update. Alt+Enter to enter full screen should cure this :)

This is my playtest, if you interested: https://youtu.be/k1E-htv-xjQ
Like, you went overboard. If I were you I'd just.. make one world that's super fun instead of making 3 jillion worlds.
Please rate my game because my game is in danger.

Other things:
- I didn't like the camera movement being fixed to the character. It's a bit nauseating to look at after a while (since this is a pretty large scale game), especially since the character can make drastic movements like stomping when dashing in the air.
- The side quests, while okay, were placed oddly such that I could obtain items before I even knew what I was doing. In the case of the bogs, I was obtaining the batteries, but I didn't find the NPC who gave me the quest until much later. Which makes me think, I was probably supposed to obtain those pairs of pants back in the island world for an NPC.
- Something about the jump is strange to me. Like, it's super floaty at times but others, it's really grounded. I think this is affected by how long one holds the jump key, but the second jump is a super small distance. I dunno, it's probably just my taste, but it feels like the second jump could be a *bit* higher.
I really like how the worlds actually are continuous, ie. I can walk in one direction horizontally and end up in the same place I started. That was great in giving the whole "small world" impression. I'm not really sure if this fits the theme, since it's concerning a number of small worlds rather than just one small world, which the theme clearly states. But that's neither here nor there, I guess. Interesting stuff.
The gameplay was pretty fun, standard platformy stuff, was never a big fan of collecting things in games so y'know. I liked the mini quest of collecting or shooting a bunch of stuff within a time limit. Otherwise maybe too many different things to collect, shards, eyeballs, underwear. Certainly catches the classic 16-bit vibe, I'm pretty sure I owned a ton of snes platform games that were less nicely done. What did you use for doing the music by they way? p.s the jump stomp mechanic was fun
One of my favourites!
(I like your cyberpunk city as well!!!)
I was enjoying it until I got to this glitch, I pounded the ground in this place and got stuck.

But, well this is really good! Too bad not many people got to see it. Mad props for effort, and I would recommend you to keep this game in the future, sounds promising to make it a full game, good job!
PS: I would recommend you to better put the in another platform designed for game,s like itch.io or gamejolt. I almost couldn't download it, it was so slow!
Then I re-read the description and realized that in addition to all of that you also made all the graphics and music which just blows my mind!!
Not much else to say, well done!
Also I liked the hidden story in the title screen about Dr. Size  Amazing backstory!
Good job!
Can't really say why... Maybe because it's just a collectathon? Maybe it's hard? Maybe I missed hald of the explanantions?
Of course it's a good jam game, but I still miss something to make me want to continue to play.
