Slap them with the fish.

FAQ

Q. I can't seem to get past level 2?

A. There are, unfortunately, only two levels. Time constraints are dreadful.

Q. How do I restart?

A. Refresh the page. Restart button not included due to aforementioned time constraints.

Q. Why isn't there any sound?

A. You really ought to be noticing a theme here.

Q. The game and I disagree on the subject of comedic timing.

A. That's not a question.

Q. The game and I disagree on the subject of comedic timing?

A. Now you're just asking to be slapped with a fish.

I am not sure how the comedic timing rating works at all.
Funny little graphics at least with good animation!

haha, I love the animation of smashing the woman with a fish! The game is very short, and yet enjoyable! Congratulations on such a condensed interesting experience!

Would be nice that there would be more situations on the game!

Keep up the good work!

Managed to score a 20 after a while. I think the comedic timing should be explained before the first play through and results page. The graphics fit together well and the core mechanic with the fish was great as well. Nice quick quirky game.

I like the idea and love the credits, but did not manage to get past level two.
(After 30 tries) :)

It's cute and very simple. I like the graphics, which suit the game nicely. Replay value would benefit tremendously with a Replay button. Wish there were more than just two levels. Does not seem to have any sound or music? Also, I am not sure where "A Small World" comes in, other than the name of the game and the supposed name of the sketch troupe.

I also like the idea. In comedy, timing is everything, and what better way to exemplify that than judging the timing of the "slap someone with a fish" trope?

Heh, this is a pretty fun concept. I'm not funny enough to make it past level 2, it seems. But I'm not sure if that level is trolling me or not. :D

Graphics were nicely stylized. The fish might've had a little too much shading compared to the characters. A real shame there was no sound.

I _guess_ you included the theme in the first level's dialogue, but it doesn't really fly. :P

Is there anything beyond level 2? Don't think I'm getting it at all >.<

The BBC really is going downhill isn't it :D

Nice graphics and animation.
I think sfx could be helpful for the timing.

With all due respect. My comedic timing is FLAWLESS.

That said, I love the "hitting someone with a fish" animation. Really nicely done. I agree with the comment above: it needs some music or SFX!

Keep up the good work.

Original idea, I'd say. Never heard of a comic timing mechanic before.
I don't think we're at the stage in AI research that computer program is in a position to judge us yet.

Maybe I'm just not a funny guy but all I could score was a 5... But that's okay, I still had fun!

Cute and original. I found the timing is very hard to pull off consistently, dashing my hopes of becoming a comedian. One technical issue: 'continue to next scene' and 'slap with fish' are the same button, causing unintentional skipping of the score screen while zealously slapping.

This is a crazy idea and I like it a lot. I managed to continuously hit the woman with the fish with the right timing without skipping to the next screen, which made the game even better :)

It's a very interesting idea~ could be better explain the idea if there are more levels. Looking forward it!

I clearly have absolute no comedic timing.

For me, the best part about this game was having zero-timing. But you hinted that the game had more levels. I would have wished this was an impossible game where whatever you did, you never had any comedy in you. I liked the mechanism of interaction, but the dialogues were so quick that I really didn't follow the narration (might have explained the lack of timing). Still interesting concept.

Ps. I would have liked to select who I got to hit with fish.

I really like this. Even if it is short, and you don't do much in it, it is really original and fun.

Nice! (Check out my game if you can, i'm just two votes from being rescued)

Interesting..... a lot of work for a one man band so well done on that.

Would really like to see where this goes with more time and more levels to start understanding the concepts you had behind this a bit more.

On the plus side I seem to have good comedic timing? Though I'm not sure how I managed this :V

Haha, I like the fish-slapping mechanic. I'll admit, my comedic timing is pretty bad! It's a cool idea though.
