Hey this is pretty good!
The art and graphics are N I C E. I really dig gameboy-esque visuals!
The music and sound effects too are okay, they suit the game well.
I like the main gameplay mechanic, and I do feel like there's more room to explore! Hopefully you're planning to expand further on this concept.

The game was pretty entertaining! Great job!

Very nice game to play.
I find it unfortunate that the laser is only useful for one wall.
Great graphics and great sound ! =)

fun game though it can be a bit frustrating. The character feels imprecise to control in the air and slides off the platforms with even just the slightest tap of the arrow keys, and not being able to jump through the bottom parts of the platforms is just annoying especially since unity has a simple one way collider system built in. There is a similar game to yours https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/43/soulassain. while I think his levels are more interesting to traverse it also has a problem with movement. I think his is to slow and stiff while yours is to fast and imprecise. I think the sweet spot is somewhere in between. but Overall though very solid game. Great job!

edit: Sorry talked to much about mechanics. The art, sound, and effects are cute and fun. Good job

Haven't seen an idea used like this before in a game, really unique! It got tricky in some parts, like the areas where you had to "ditch" the vessel in order to get a soul or clear a gap, then retake another vessel before you got dragged down. Sound effects and music were fitting as well, felt like an old gameboy game. Would love to see level 3 be more challenging if you manage to finish it!

Pretty clever concept, but failing a level is way too easy (but maybe I'm bad). Took me a while to understand how to play too, perhaps putting jump on space was a bit strange. Other than that, the levels were well made and I really saw what you were trying to achieve ! Thank you for your game !

Thanks guys!

@sadsmile of course it could be but it's gamejam and we decided to polish as much as we could and sacrifice third level  Glad you liked concept!

Thanks, @guine!

@frostbyte4k we had some problems with movement and it was the best we managed (considering how much time we had). We thought it's ok so we left it as it is. We've been thinking of jumping on platforms from below but everything is on tilemap and it doesn't use effectors. Also because of tilemaps you can see black lines. We didn't know about that before. Thanks for that long comment

@sodaraptor yea, we were thinking about mechanics so long and glad it paid off. Also we are considering making level3 after all those comments!

@pandanym it was hard to balance. On the one hand we didn't want to put blue characters everywhere and on the other sometimes there had to be some... Glad you liked levels! I've put so much time in them (that's why I didn't want to make level3 on quickly). Thanks for playing!

Interesting concept. Would be nice to see more levels and more mechanics, but main mechanic is really versatile and pixelart looks cool. Good work!

Great atmosphere! Sounds and art is nicely polished :)
The controller mapping is a bit weird, especially activating your skill with both arrow buttons and exiting the body with the up arrow  Also, the movement controls could be a bit more polished - the part in level 2 where you have to stack vessels to reach the soul was kind of fiddly since it's hard to land on top of another vessel.

Thanks for playing, @hechi!

@yazara you can also exit the body with 'E' but friend found it difficult so you can do it with up arrow too. In level2 you were just supposed to jump out of body to reach the soul (jumping out fires you in the air) Maybe I shouldn't have put more characters near that point. Anyway, thanks for playing!

Great game, love the graphics in particular. I had a bug which kept me constantly moving to the right when I wasn't holding down a key, but I still beat it.
