Story:

A deadly computer virus embedded in a power surge has stripped the city of all electricity. Remove the virus and restore power to the city by mimicking the pattern of the virus in the power boxes. Beware the vicious rats and stealthy bats. The rats have vicious teeth that can tear through your body, the bats will destroy you with their acid guano. Remember to keep yourself full of power from the power boxes.

How to Score Points: - Kill enemies. - Repair the power boxes.

Controls:

W, A, D and Arrow Keys to move left or right and fly up.

Memory Game:

  • Click the boxes in the same order they were shown to you in order to win.
  • While playing the memory game you can not move left or right but you can still fly and attack (just in case a bat or rat follows from a distance).
  • The memory game gets harder as you get farther to the right. If the memory games seem too easy you stopped playing too early.

A game that delivers simple fun. I liked the fly mechanic in combination with the shooting and the boxes were a fun idea as well. It just only good for a very short time since there is a lack of content (which is ofcourse understandable for a jam!)

A fun game! The short memory games were cool and the music was great! The flying mechanic was a little difficult, but perhaps I just haven't mastered it yet. ;)

Nice little game ! The mix between memory game and shooter is interesting. The gameplay is fun and fit the theme, even if it become quickly repetitive. The music is nice and I liked the graphics as well.

Good job !

Fun game! Wish there were more enemies (there was often dead air for 5-10 seconds), but other than that it plays well. :)

Fun little game, but a bit to hard for me. The enemies are cheating, they have an wall hack! D: Nice sounds and music and the graphics are great too. Nice game!

I think this is a fun game for a little while. It would be great if there were more content, or more challenge as time went on. Is it procedurally generated?

Enjoyed the music, but found the gameplay a little repetitive. Colour combinations got rather complex too the one that ended by run was 10 long haha. Enjoyed the time I spent playing though, good entry.

It was nice, but a bit repetitive. The memory games were a bit too easy. Also, if the enemy is not on screen when starting a minigame, it is not killed and can still comme on screen and kill you while you are blocked on the game.

The atmosphere was neat, so was the music.

Fun game, though the shooting part was very easy. The memory game was very challenging later on!

Great job!

The Simon-type games seem kind of random (and the almost inexistent feedback from winning/losing them is not very motivating towards winning them -- I ended up mostly avoiding them), but the movement and shooting is very satisfying. Although the graphics style isn't really consistent (trust me, I know how hard that is to achieve...), I think the lovely animations and particles and the music make for a very good look&feel, and what's more fun than shooting laser beams at turd shitting bats and Jerry Mouse? I enjoyed it thoroughly :)

Exciting game with challenging memory puzzles!

Graphics looks nice but a little bit too grim

Low energy effect is interesting feature, but it seems like energy stations are stituated too near to each other

Normally I'd call out the game for having a minigame out of nowhere......but I happen to love memory games so I enjoyed it :)

I tended to just run forward and shoot the majority of the time and that seemed effective enough against the enemies so that was pretty simple. I think the fun was in managing your jet power properly and making sure you could make the bigger gaps. Even though the graphics were pretty low-bit, it was very consistent so that gets points from me.

Simple but well made game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 39 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IFwNYcB13dA
