Boy, this band need to hire some security ASAP!
Nice entry! It would be great if something happens with all the song key pressess, because gives the impression that is not something to take much care about, but I really enjoy the game! The theme fits really great and I like the music, looks like I'll be humming it for a while.
Well congrats! :D

Awesome idea! I didn't quite understand when a game is supposed to end and how to get back to the start, but while playing it was really challenging and fun. I imagine a beat being constantly played would make it a bit easier and more energizing.

I started the game on expert difficulty, which was a mistake. I found the game very challenging, even on the easier modes. I feel the precision required to hit a note is too high, but maybe I'm just terrible at playing it. I liked the idea of having to keep an eye on the rhythm of the music but also watching the fans as well. I enjoyed the visuals too.

I finished the song on the easiest mode, but the fans just seemed to keep coming onto the stage. There seemed to be no end to it.

Overall, a fun game but very hard. Good entry.

Great concept, but I think it needs more polish. Maybe I'm just too slow, but I miss almost every note. And it would be nice to mute a corresponing note in the audio to give proper feedback. Anyway, it is really fun =)

Sandstorm! Good choice of song!
Haha, I played the game on easy and had a great time. I really enjoyed the pixelly goodness when playing the game, and thought in comparison that the menu screen was a bit messy - perhaps just a background shot of a blank stage would have worked better?
Anyway, fun times!

This had me in fits of laughter! Which made it even harder to press the note. I wish there were more songs and that it did actually use all 4 band members. But perhaps that was what you were going for.
The sound could have used a little work, The song sounded great, but there were no effects for the crowd, or when a band member gets ganked. Congratulations on having something to submit for LD!

Argh, my secret technique of button smashing doesn't work on higher difficulty...
Nice little game and concept!

An interesting idea, would be better if the keystrokes are not that dense, so that I can spare some attention to the crazy fans.

Can be just sit back and remind ourselves that the BGM is highly reminiscent of Darude - Sandstorm?

What was the song?

It is a little fast for me, even on easy. Could have used some more polished, maybe crazier visual effects, otherwise solid.

I think this game really hits the theme :)

Thanks for all the comments guys.

This was my first ever entry for Ludum Dare, and whilst it's not as polished as I would have liked, the experience was so much fun.

Things I've taken note on:
- The difficulties are a bit insane. I'd very much so like to re-work them to make the levels a bit more enjoyable.
- Missing the notes should definitely have had a negative effect on the player.
- The threshold of hitting a note and missing should be a bit higher.
- Most importantly there should have been an end screen :(

It all came down to not being prepared as well as I should have. The next one will be better.

Cool idea and interesting take on the game. It was still a bit difficult for me though. Congrats!
