This is probably the most best game I've yet played this ludum dare. Although I didnt immediatly get you had to click on the text, once I did, I really liked the story.

If you go to prison, the prison part lasts a little too long without anything happening. I get that that is appropriate to the situation, but even so.

Other than that, this was the most thoughtful implementation of the theme I have seen so far!
Great job!

I really liked the direction you took for the theme, mood and pacing for the story.

Depressing and moody, music and art style go well with the story. I'll try to replay it to see if I can get a different ending maybe. Simple but thoughtful story game, I liked it.

What a deep game... I really love it, so happy I played it. 5/5 for mood.

This is a masterpiece. Art style, music, mood. Everything works together perfectly. My only complaint is that I'd like to be able to hold space or forward or something to move instead of just clicking the text.

A really unique storytelling experience. I enjoyed the overall experience, and it was nice to play something completely different to every other game in this jam. Well done!

The ending I got ("Was it worth it?") really struck a chord. Awesome narrative. The grueling aspect of pushing forward by holding down your mouse is great interactivity with the player.

I wanted to see the other ending, but due to its slow nature the replayability aspect wasn't necessarily there. I ended up getting the same ending a second time even after choosing different options.

I like the idea here, and the execution. The stick figure art style and the necessity of having to continuously hold down click contributed to a very strange mood, which I like. I'm not entirely sure whether or not my choices made much of a difference? I was actually trying to deliberately lower the number... Though maybe the point is that the ending is true no matter what, I really was mostly looking at the number. Alright, you got me.

The simple art style and minimal use of music work so well with the story! So far the most impressive Mood of a game I've played in this jam.

Great game! I really liked the mood, the art, the music, all that fit quite well. Sometimes the text went away too fast (I used itch.io web version) but I guess it wasnt a problem. Really good entry!

Very nice, and thoughtful! My mouse finger got a little sore from holding the button down the whole time...

The story was interesting, I just would've liked to have been able to move the player along a little faster, as it felt like I was kind of trudging through the level.

The mood is insanely very well set. Ganeplay simple, but it gets the point of tediousness and greyness of life well across. Shame that you can't get very different endings, maybe non-increasing 2.0?

Awesome, I love games (movies, books, ..) which forces player to think (not about the game itself). Really interesting.. must the sacrifice been made, like the theme says? That's the question...

Nice story, played twice to check multiple paths, the ambient is dark and brutal, loved every bit. Thank you!

I enjoyed this a lot. I don't think it's simplistic - I think it's very well-scoped and extremely efficient at storytelling. And that's a hard thing to do. Well done!

I found this to be incredibly engrossing. I feel like the very simple visuals did a lot to make this game more than simply a text adventure. Excellent job - well done!
