Building would have been a bit smoother if you enabled drag and drop on already placed blocks, I think.
For example, level 3 when you introduce "building disabling". You have a narrow vertical passage that can be blocked easily. Then you give a player 3 building blocks and at the beginning, I didn't understand why did you give me 3 blocks when I can do the same with just one of them, but I believe that was your intention, to make sure that player will block his way back. You don't show the tutorial message until the player gets to the top.
And this is the tricky part.
At this time the way back may be blocked already and a lot of players would just ignore the message. They will be stuck in the level without any possible way to complete or even restart it.
That is not how tutorial supposed to work.
I thought the genre combination was neat, you managed to put an interesting twist on it with the you-can't-build-on-the-way-back mechanic, that made for some cool puzzles. Would've loved to see more puzzles with the red blocks, I was sad to see it end when it ended. But hey, wanting to see more is the sign of of good LD game, right?
~~Also, we won't question a guy that's going around kissing girls and then driving off in his car? Okay...~~
-Getting stuck on the walls feels pretty strange.
-not being able to jump when touching/leaning against a wall is also strange
-Overall movement could be more snappy- there's a lot of drag going back and forth
-The jumping feels a bit floaty - I guess this helps with the placement of blocks though.
Keep up the good work!
