A not-really-an-actual-game based on the theme "shapeshift" by Michael Feeney
So it ended up not really being even close to a complete game, but it looks sort of nice, I guess. And who doesn't like coding and modelling all weekend.
Ah Ludum Dare, you are a cruel mistress.
Idea was you are a fish, or a lizard(ish?), or a bird, able to change between the three, eating and avoiding enemy "bugs" (which eat your "poop"/waste, then you if there isn't enough food).
Windows (32-bit) OpenGL 4.x executable (written in C and C++)

(maybe I should re-think that...)
Although I also like making a game from "scratch" (I use at least a basic custom engine), using an engine sure helps with the time constraint (the last 2 LD I had to use Unity due to lack of time...), so I think you should at least consider using something, depending on your idea~
Anyways great work!
The graphics are nice though.
A full game in this style could be really cool. Would like to see you finish it at some point.
