Fun game. Quite terrifying when there's no space to dig left haha

Great pixel work! I like the look of the game and how you worked with the theme. It's fun to play although a tad easy if you pre dig your holes. One thing I would change is using the mouse to dig. I feel like a keyboard button like shift would work better since you don't actually have to click on the spot you're digging.
Nice compo submission!

Cute concept, fun in execution when I figured out what to do! Since digging happened where you were standing and not where you click, tying it to a key press may be more intuitive. Good job!

Nice game! I liked the idea and graphics. The implementation was faultless too but I think you need to add in the instructions that the player can only dig the hole beneath themselves. Better yet, you can bind it to keyboard button like someone suggested here. Also, I think that zombies escaping take so much of the score that sometimes although I've been playing for a while I end up with the same score I had when I buried only a couple zombies.

Congratulation on a good game :)

Your game is very nice to play. The general impact is positive.
As a professional game dev I would suggest... just kidding haha
Nonetheless, if you want to work on this project more I suggest making a difficulty incresing algorithm.
Graphics - very nice. Controls are also working very well.
Maybe you could also take a glimpse at my game? I already enlarged it into a wholesome Android game :)

Cool game, could have used some more detail. It took me a few tries to figure out you had to click twice to dig a grave and twice again to bury the zombie. Also, sometimes I couldn't figure out where the edge of the tile was to actually start the dig animation. I ran into a minor bug where 3 empty hearts would be displayed upon starting a new game.

Love the art. My high score was 1010, which took me a few tries to get.
The control scheme was a bit surprising. It wasnt' until I had played a few rounds before I realized that where I click doesnt' matter, it just registered a click as to dig where I am.
The digging took slightly awkwardly long, though I got used to it. The zombies also pop up really fast, such that if you don't almost immediately start to bury them you're going to have it pop out on you. I wish there was a little bit more decision-making than simply digging and burying - such as a decision of choosing between multiple zombies to bury, but essentially when you coudln't bury you were pretty much going to take damage.

It took me a while to get it, but overall very well put together! I think an indicator of where you were 'digging' would be nice, but otherwise it was pretty intuitive actually. The art was good too!
