Great entry! Graphics are nice to look at, game idea is very innovative, theme is used well and above all, the gameplay is tons of fun. Overall one of the better games I've seen here :)

Impressive game! I feel like the difficulty is the real detractor here. I spent 50 deaths in level 7 and quit when level 8 was even harder.

Great graphics and mood though!

Really impressive looking game. For me the movement speed and the level design didn't fit very well together. Too little space for the fast movement. Nevertheless this is crazy good!

Thanks to all the feebback so far =), will definitly look into the problems more after the ludum dare is done and I'll be working on a post ludum dare version (that has a bit more content). Any bugs so far?

Super cool game, difficult but I found myself trying over and over to complete the levels. Great job!

Nice innovative idea. Classic Platformer with an interesting new mechanic. I like the clean stylish pixel art. I did struggle with the dash controls but overall, great job

A super fun game. It was honestly a bit hard, but once you got used to it you could usually make it a good ways. The biggest thing I can think of that would improve the game, is making it so that hitting an enemy doesn't instantly kill you, but perhaps instead partially fill your heat.

The art was fantastic, the art style you built is simple, but looks good, and you seem to have been able to pull it off really well in the limited time.

This is definitely a very solid entry, congratulations.

Very cool art and mechanics, too much challenging for my taste, but nice game overall. Cool level design and clever use of the simple gameplay.

very cool game, ben! I don't know how you designed all those levels so quickly! they were super hard but also really fun. :) I agree with the person that said the movement was a little fast but overall nice job!

goodluck!

A bit hard right on the 2nd level, but gameplay was very tight.

I loved everything about this game except the learning curve. A few more easier levels right at the start to get used to the controls would have been cool. Very good job overall! :)

Great die'n'retry, it smells like SMB :] very smooth yet simple visuals, great gamefeel and *juice*, cool music... It seems quite amazing to design so many levels and so many secrets ... After some tries I was really frustrated at level 8, and stopped after more than 80 death but I'll give another try later :) Sometimes the screen is still dark after death that i'm already dead once again as i'm crispated on a keyboard key >D
Cheers !

This game felt really well polished. All you'd really need to do to put this up on steam is add some more variety in enemies, throw in some additional abilities or powers to solve environmental puzzles, and give the controls a little more finesse and you're golden. Nice work!

Challenging, well made platformer! I included it in my Ludum Dare 40 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BQct2dB93U
