Space Delivery by Team Gaivot
Story
It’s year 2169. Living in space is a common reality due to overpopulation in Earth. Most colonies orbit our planet, and lately the number of space citizens has been increasing non-stop. As a result, commuting is no longer a walk in the park, since spacecrafts get jammed all over the defined routes. Space is not so spacious anymore. You are a spacecycle rider that works as a full time courier. The increasing traffic jams are obviously having an influence over your business, with late deliveries and even accidents, making your paycheck more and more depressing to look at. As a solution for these troubles, you decided to ride above the space routes and try to make the deliveries in time. After work you need to manage your finances and make sure you can live properly.
Gameplay
DELIVERY - Each day you have 3 deliveries with different time lengths – since your daily time is limited, you need to fit all deliveries before time runs out (IMPORTANT: timer starts when you open the game) - Avoid asteroids - since crashing makes you late - Use space debris (boxes) as platforms - Collect Space Gems for extra money - If your delivery time runs out, your payment will decrease gradually
MANAGE YOUR FINANCES - Choose between paying rent, buying food or pay your Crunchyroll subscription. - Failing to pay one of those has consequences: - Rent – You will get an eviction note – get 3 of those and it’s GAME OVER; - Food – You will get hungry – reduces your daily time; - Crunchyroll subscription – Since you have no waifu material, you will get stressed – AFFECTS GAMEPLAY;

Our second entry in Ludum Dare, with a much smaller team. Thank you for playing, and feel free to give any feedbacks!
PS: We are submitting a Jam version where the 3 stages are actually the same (only with different time limits and rewards). Later we will include a post jam version, but vote based on the Jam version.

I did have one problem though. On deliver 3, I don't know for what reason, but sometimes it is really fast. It gets so fast I can't move left or right on the screen, I'm glued to the back of the window. That makes it hard and not very fun to play.
Try our game too, maybe you'll like it)
- @awix Could you be a little more specific about the music? We are trying to improve in every possible aspect, so every feedback is valuable! =D Also, i played your game, pretty awesome!
- @freezedice @axkarth We will look into that! And yeah, about the cookie asteroids, we didn't have an artist this time so we had to improvise with suspicious drawings hahahha
- @loadsofmana That is actually a system we intended to implement as a consequence for not paying for the Crunchyroll subscription, but we didnt have time to complete it =/
- @slojanko @eugene-opryshko thank you so much!
Good luck, Don't forget to take a look at ours if you don't mind and see what it's like when we just focused on graphics in this game jam!
