Pitch

Your plane has crashed in the middle of nowhere and you have to go back to civilization. You will need food to survive to this trip. Perhaps you could meet some natives and get their help in exchange of favors...

Tips

If you happen to misunderstand some gameplay features, here you can find some infomations (don't read if you don't want to be spoiled!): - Villages: they offer you food if you bring them back the amount of ressources they want. Ressources are in the same area as the village! - Trees : they drop food again when you walked for long enough.

Nice little journey you have here. Looking around felt little bit shaky. Checkpoints are good as I constantly run out of food :). Maybe you should opt out from audio ratings since there is none?

I like that the game isn't too long! I think the essence of a Ludum Dare is small short experiences made in short time, and that's exactly what you've done here. I think maybe the game could've benefited from some audio, and maybe some more exciting gameplay. As the game isn't driven by its sound, graphics or story as many other entires are, it should at least offer some engaging gameplay, but right now it's somewhat of a walking simulator.

That wasn't too bad of a downside though, as the game isn't too long. Overall I enjoyed it, I loved the little people especially.

I really enjoyed the environment and finding the tips on the walls as you explore. Was a bit confused at first and I had to read the instructions here to figure out what I needed to do. Too bad for the music. Nice work anyway!

Interesting idea -- it reminds me of trying to complete the Portal challenges of taking as few steps as possible. The mouse sensitivity was way too high for my taste.

Good, short, and strangely entertaining! If that's not the essence of a good entry, I don't know what is. Seriously though, good job. I liked the scarcity of energy, made for a real challenge. Also, I enjoyed your implementation of the theme making me feel like a giant :)

Nice effort! The main mechanic is interesting but I feel like it doesn't work too well within an exploration type game which i feel this is, and I think it would work better in a puzzle type game. Cool idea though!

Good entry! Quite challenging, if not for the checkpoints I would definitely have a lot of trouble beating this. Could this be Gulliver's Travels: The Game?

There's a lot of flavor in this simple game. I really like the small villages you find on the travel, and the little people cheering was super adorable. The game is quite unforgiving though (can't wonder off the main path, or you'll run out of energy). Another small problem is the camera control, which made it a little hard to pickup the energy balls. Overall, an enjoyable journey!

This was a lot of fun if not a little punishing at times - very glad there was a checkpoint system! At one point I found a strange object up in the air near the end, but couldn't figure out how to do anything with it. Overall, great job!

Found it very cute and interesting, the simple art-style didn't hurt, in fact, it was very charming. Two things were really bugging me, however: The first was not having a reticle in the middle of the screen, so I more often than not clicked and nothing happened. The other was the punishing design of the health globes: The world looks very nice and inviting exploration, but as soon as you do, you get punished. Also later it was almost impossible to find the five star-cube-thingies without dying at least once or twice. Thankfully you'd keep the items you carry when restarting at a checkpoint :) But the game asking me to explore, yet gives me hardly any room to find my own way was a bit frustrating.

Cute game. I always kept running out of food: so I guess you really have to know what you're doing right? Checkpoint helps a lot and keeps thing moving hopefully!

I had a hard time picking up fruit since I hab no pointer... maybe some kind of target would be good to see were you're at?

Would need som music, or at least some audio feedback, cause the game felt a bit flat without it. Nice effort!

Nice looking, stylized environment to walk around it. I liked the little villages a lot! Had a super hard time picking stuff up. The range felt very short and interaction zone too small. I also died/continued TONS! Not sure if this was possible to be finished without dying or not. Maybe I should've just camped the fruit trees or something...

Walked around a bit and played through. Kept dying but it looks like in between deaths you can carry forward some of your state such as crystals picked up and such? Love the look of the little guys. Love the way the instructions to play are integrated into the game itself.

Nice work, the game feels really open despite being rather restricted due to the energy. It controlled really well as well, however I felt that in certain parts it was really hard, and I actually ended up getting stuck. This may have just been due to how bad I was, but digress. As everyone else has said, the fact there was no sound made the game feel like it did lack something, but overall it was a really fun play and a cool environment, nice work

simple contemplative game, but stresfull too.
The idea could be fun, but it was really hard for me to took energy (I don't know if it is because I don't practice 3d game often) maybe a cursor could help...
After a long time, I understood that energy doesn't consume if I don't move, and the game was better, but nothing told me that...
