No More Space in Space by Liven
Here is my little contribution to the Ludum Dare 42.
Your mission

Explore

Deal numbers
Even when it seems impossible

Little Twist between 1000 end 1500
Known bugs: (if green bonuses are too rare => close/restart the game ) - Invisible green bonuses (when you hear an unexpected "bong", you hit one of them) - Smoke above the ship when moving backward - Traduction error in ending message
Corrected version Available! - Bug free - Balance more friendly (but still challenging) - Easier progression to follow - Ending extended

Thanks for the comm. I have trying so many before choosing this one, I think I caught your idée when you did leave it.
Stuck in first wave maybe... your can go pretty hight if your are not intimidate by numbers... (but it's not obvious, I concede)
(@batmanasb) The RNG god is living in my space (for best and worst)
The bouncing planets and searing stars are a nice touch that really help the simple aesthetic of the game.
Of course, I would have liked to see more lasers, but you can't have everything (and they don't really fit the mechanics of this game... though they might have made an interesting powerup... food for thought).
Overall, good job. As mentioned above, a few of us thought of the idea, but you actually executed it, and you did that well.
(if you succeed to reach the end of course)
Thank you very much for your feedback.
For this game, I think I'll just debug and balance it , not introduce new feature. I have another more solid project with a white square coming soon ^^
Thank you very much for your feedback. I am aware about your comments. A corrected/balanced version is on the way.
Also, is there really something at the end?
I made à corrected version without the bug and a better balance (always challenging that said).
And yes there is an "end". Not a boss but something différent. You can considere had completly finish game when you will feel more free...
Besides that it was a great idea and you executed it well! The music is very ominous and gives me a sense of loneliness in space, nice touch!
(Also is there actually an ending? I suicided after getting over 3000 points on the corrected version since I thought it was endless, is there something else that needs to be done?)
@adrisj7 what I call end (sorry english is not my natural language and I didnt find more appropriate terme) is when the borders disapear so you reached it but it was not obvious (I concede it is not really an end becouse you can continue to play).
The cluttered areas are here to fit to the theme "running out of space" (and bring some challenge)
Good luck, Don't forget to take a look at ours if you don't mind and see what it's like when we just focused on graphics in this game jam!

It is less hard, but still challenging (you have to go backward when facing walls)
