You somehow find yourself in a dark labyrinth. How will you ever find your way out without a flashlight? Luckily you always carry your phone with you. Unfortunately it doesn't have the best battery life. Find your way through the mysterious labyrinth and solve puzzles along the way, but watch your battery levels or you will be trapped in the dark.

Version 1.1 includes a lot of bug fixes.

Note: If the game looks a little off like this and you are on windows you graphics card don't support a new enough version of Direct X need for the game to run right. After testing we have found that an OpenGl build works when this is the case. Here is the link to download that version: https://github.com/ParkerMc/LD-39/releases/download/1.1/AmazeingBatteryLife-Windows-OpenGl.zip

Very good looking game and it plays very well. I do have one complaint, and that is R and F are very close on the keyboard.

The first time I found a room with what looked like interesting things I pressed R instead of F... maybe add a "Are you sure you want to restart?".

Very fun even despite my mistake haha.

Well done you two! The use of the phone flashlight and map is great. I am really impressed by the labyrinth design too. I was freaking myself out while going through it just knowing that something was going to jump out and scare me

The sound design is very good. The need to conserve battery feels quite stressful. I really like your game. It also looks great.

Cool graphics and sounds! The noises made me feel like I was there :). One cool thing that I would like to see is camera movement during walking and running. I think it would improve the immersion. I still definitely like the mood.

Oh and the fact that you can't use the map and the flashlight at the same time is pretty cool too!

Atmosphere is good. Audio is great. I find myself never needed to use the flashlight and always needing the map, maybe it's a personal issue of the game not being dark enough. Overall decent job.

I liked the atmostphere but I wasn't sure what I was supposed to be doing, I kept getting lost. I liked the use of the theme though, that was neat.

@death-is-cold Wow that's interesting, without a flashlight the cave should be 100% black without any torches nearby and should be practically impossible to navigate. I have a feeling you might have run into some sort of graphical bug. Also the map uses far too much battery power to allow you to reach the end in time so it should be reserved for use every now and then.

I did the same that @death-is-cold, the thing was run with the map open and make good choices. I liked the game and the puzzle was incredible.

Great use of the theme, and very intense gameplay! I had myself running in circles out of panic when my battery started getting low xD

Good sound design and atmosphere.

Maybe need enable/disable flashlight more faster? If I were in a labyrinth, I held my finger over the flashlight icon and sometimes looked at the map. Now I can't turn off the light quickly and the battery is wasted.

That was a neat little labyrinth style game! I found myself alternating between the flashlight and the map quite often. Very nice balance between battery usage and going in the dark. The mood and the sound effects were top notch for this style of game. Keep up the great work! :)

This is seriously slick - you nailed it graphically, the sound design was good and the gameplay was stressful in just the right way. Well done!
