You are in the shoes of Big Foot, not Bigfoot, that is a common mistake. Now, ride along on the plain and ordinary life of Big Foot and the journey through Smalltown, a small town located right under your nose. Try to be humble and let your environment stay intact as you struggle to reach your own goals.

Controls

Hold Left mouse button - Lift left leg

Hold Right mouse button - Lift right leg

Move the mouse to move the current leg

Do not step on the little people! You will have to pay for the harm you cause.

I really liked this idea, and I think it fit the theme very well. However, the lack of vertical clearance on step means that stepping over obstacles, as one would expect to do, doesn't work much of the time. This combined with a cost per step and a quick fall-over time made for some frustration for me, and kept me from playing more. I loved the atmosphere and look of the game, and the fun nature of the goals was really entertaining. Thanks for your game!

I have no idea how to play this game. Even quick clicks resulted in my dying and restarting. I was able to move one foot once.

Hey @djfariel,

Holding down a mouse button lifts the corresponding leg, moving the mouse while holding down the mouse button moves the lifted leg. If you stand on one leg too long you'll fall! Perhaps we were unclear in the instructions, hehe - thanks for trying out the game, I'll take a look at yours soon! (Edit: I updated the post with this information)

@zantamar 100% agree. While I personally enjoy a hard game, it shouldn't be hard from frustrating and somewhat pointless elements. One might argue that you'll have to truly learn the maps somewhat before completing them, and trying out different strategies but I'm with you, there should either be slightly more vision ahead or a limitation on the legs reach ahead, so you're somewhat prevented from trying to take maximum length steps and crushing the poor, poor creatures (and also adjust level design to allow it). Thank you for the feedback and for playing them game, if you've created a game please let us know so we can give some feedback in return!

This is very well made LD game. The idea is pretty new and to me the game was easy to fast and easy learn how to play. And what is even more important, the game was fun to play. Well done.

I really like the idea, and it seems for the most part very well made. I agree that it's a little difficult to prevent hitting certain obstacles, because the player is lacking control over the step height. Unfortunately, I kept getting stuck in my shoes in the third(?) level. I reached the goal and then kept tripping over them, instead of putting them on.

Overall, I really enjoyed the game a lot and kept playing for a while.

BTW, I kept reading the title as "Big in Small Foot Town"...

This is probably my favorite LD 38 game so far!

It's hilarious.

"In my defense, the civilians are braindead." ~Big Foot

The game is actually pretty hard. It would help if the trees were a bit shorter so that you could step over them.

It's still a great game though! I'd love to see some YouTubers play it.

Overall it is a great game. The graphics, audio, gameplay, and theme is done very well. The concept is one of the best I've seen and the gameplay is fun, simple and addictive. The instructions on the menu screen was a nice touch. Great work!

I felt very powerful playing your game, the music goes well with the atmosphere. Perhaps you could have added screen shake when you hit the ground, or when you destroy something bad to increase the power sensation. It's really fun to take care of all this small world but sometimes the controls become hard because my mouse is very far and I can't push it further. The graphic style looks very cool but I think you could have improve the particles to make your game more beautiful... The fallling animation is well done, it surprised me! I kept a really nice time playing your game, thanks you made something good!

Hilarious game! The noises, the little dudes' comments, the falling animation, the goals of the different levels... There was also a lot more content than usual for a LD game.
The game is pretty fun to play. It gets quite frustrating in the later levels and I almost ragequit a few times, but it seems to be on purpose so it's not too bad. Still, damn those pants and those slippery feet!
My only concern with this game would be the things that get destroyed when your foot is lifted, since there's no real way to know if you're high enough not to hurt anything.
Great game overall!

This game was a lot of fun! Using left and right button for controlling the feet was winning, very intuitive. The music helps you to keep the pace. The animations are hilarious.
Sometimes I thought it was perfectly safe to walk that close to an object but when I landed then it was not.

Wow! I love the concept of the game as the execution!
I have a lot of fun playing this!
Congratulation!

So far, the funniest I've played.

Room for improvement: mouse sensibility adjusting. I had to move the mouse past my mouse pad area, and I only was able to fully enjoy the game when I put the pad aside.

The comments from the little dudes are hilarious, specially the "Obamacare" and "Attack on Titan" ones hahaha

Awesome job!

This concept is definitely new! I liked it for it. Also, the panties camera tech is spot on. ;)

I went into dept :( Really funny and unique idea, great 3D models and funny sounds. Although I felt if my foot is down and enemy just runs into it they shouldn't die.

I tried so hard no to kill anybody, I just wanted to reach my socks!

I'm really jealous of your idea, it's the most innovative and interesting take on the theme that I've seen so far. Great fun, yes a bit too difficult but it has a lot of potential. It looks great too, good work!

Awesome use of the theme, very clever and put a big smile on my face! Reminded me a lot of that foot from Monty Python too which is always a bonus.
