The game feels very polished for a 2 day compo. I agree that with some sounbd would have been better but as it is it feels great to play with.\n\nOne thing I would change is the charging bar on top. There is no reson to go slower than the full charge. If you do that you will never reach the next sphere. SO during my play I never tried to control my speed .. just pressed \"W\" always until charge was complete.\n\nGreat job overall!","likes":2,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"Simon Millard","author_uid":"1003645","time":"2017-08-03T08:07:29Z","epoch":1501747649,"modified":1501747649,"text":"Cool little game. Unfortunately it's missing sound and music which is always a bummer, and I'm not sure the theme fits that well. Is the idea that you have run out of power and now you only have power at the way-points?\n\nThe game-play is great, the only thing that annoyed me a little bit was that it was very difficult to see if you were close to leaving a way-point, which meant that I died many times from trying to position myself correctly, and accidentally floating out of the way-point! Only a minor thing though. Otherwise the game mechanic is cool and the game is fun to play. Great job!","likes":2,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"raaaahman","author_uid":"1038640","time":"2017-08-03T08:56:43Z","epoch":1501750603,"modified":1501750756,"text":"Nice game, and congratulations making it for the compo!\n\nI agree with Mordokay and Simon Millard: most of the time you will be a little too short for reaching the next waypoint (wich fits the theme I believe), so you want to go to the edge of the waypoint and push your engines to maximum, maybe if you had a fuel tank for the entire level, that you have to save to reach the end you'll need to gauge the distance more efficiently (but balancing the game would be quite tricky).\n\nI like the minimalist graphics, they're cute, but I find that too many elements are white, which gets confusing sometimes: hard to distinguish a waypoint from the floor, hard to see a tunnel when you're in its axis, or unable too see the power gauge when you have a roof over you.\n\nThat's still an enjoyable game, I've played only the WebGL version but if you have saves enabled in the standalone I may be able to finish it. Well done.","likes":1,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"Yetman","author_uid":"1041592","time":"2017-08-06T20:41:49Z","epoch":1502052109,"modified":1502052109,"text":"Good Game. The art style was simple and effective. The game concept is fun and most importantly, you have a tutorial which is something to celebrate in this cruel wilderness called Ludum Dare. Starting back at the beginning was a bit frustrating, but it made me think carefully about my moves & try to move to the very edge of the sphere. I really enjoyed this and it seemed to have a lot of polish in places you wouldn't expect, like the zoom effects and the water shading on the rocks etc. The only issue I have is that it seems like you always want to use full power. I see no benefit to trying to get the exact amount of power because it seems like you can't overshoot, the ship moves too slowly and you can adjust trajectory mid path... you don't have a global power meter so there is no risk to using full power and running out for the next hop. At least that's what it seems like.","likes":1,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"elmismopancho","author_uid":"1034798","time":"2017-08-10T00:31:50Z","epoch":1502325110,"modified":1502325110,"text":"The game is great, I had a lot of fun playing it, and I loved that many levels were very puzzly.\nSome feedback in case that you do a post event version (I would love to play it):\n- Contrast. White waypoints over a white background and also a white energy bar, is no good my friend \ud83d\ude09\n- Moving inside the waypoint to prepare for the next jump is great, give tension and feels like you are in control, but the fact that you can \"fall\" from the waypoint and lose, is frustrating.\n- I never felt the need to NOT fully charge the energy bar, so maybe there is no need to force the player to hold the W button to do the jump\n- Inform in which level your are, and the progress (how many are left)","likes":1,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"Vasco Rodrigues","author_uid":"1014653","time":"2017-08-10T14:21:36Z","epoch":1502374896,"modified":1502374896,"text":"Great game, simple and relaxing while strategic at the same time. There was for undercharging, so always charging full got to be a no-brainer. \n\nI did like the manuevering inside the sphere! It allowed for fine-tuning of the launch position to get: a bit more distance, or positioning for a bend around an obstacle. Very ingenious! \n\nThe graphics were low-poly superb! The sub could've used a bit more love, but the environments were very pretty! And lots of levels. Wow!\nA shame there was no sound of any kind, as you said.
